NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) UG 2018 results were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on June 4 on the official website - https://cbseneet.nic.in and http://cbseresults.nic.in. The exam results were initially scheduled to be released on June 5 but the same got published a day in advance.
Kalpana Kumari from Bihar has topped NEET UG 2018. With an AIR 1, she secured 99.99 percentile in the exam. She has obtained 171 out of 180 in Physics, 160 out of 180 in Chemistry, 360 out of 360 in Biology (Biology and Zoology). Overall her score is 691 out of 720. The second and third place has been secured by Rohan Purohit from Telangana and Himanshu Sharma from Delhi respectively. Both Rohan and Himanshu scored 690 in NEET (UG) 2018. Their percentile score is 99.999764.

Candidates who qualify the exam will be invited for counselling and merit list shall be drawn based on All India Rank by the admitting authorities subject to their applicable rules. According to the official website, the first round of NEET 2018 Counselling (AIQ) will be held from June 12 to June 24, while the second round of NEET Counselling 2018 (AIQ) is scheduled from July 6 to July 12.
Candidates will need to bring following documents at the time of reporting to the college for counselling:
- Admit card
- Rank letter or AIQ rank letter
- Class 10 certificate and mark-sheet (for the date of birth proof)
- Class 12 certificate and mark-sheet
- ID proof
- Eight passport size photographs— Provisional allotment letter generated online after allotment.
- Community certificate (if applicable).
