The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the NEET UG 2026 exam. The NEET result 2026 official notice states that around 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam and 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified the exam for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and allied programmes. The highest marks in NEET are 715 out of 720, which have been obtained jointly by Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana). The MCC conducts around 4 to 5 rounds for NEET UG Counselling process for MBBS, BDS, BHMS and other seats. The rounds of NEET counselling depends on seat matrix and number of vacant seats.
The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.

No, there is no limit in terms of entering the number of institutes and courses during the choice filling rounds of the NEET counselling process. Candidates can give as many choices as they wish for during online choice filling round. However choices should be in order of candidates' preference. According to the Medical Counselling Committee or MCC, There will be common software for AIQ, Deemed, Central Universities, B.Sc. Nursing, AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU for filling up choices. Also, there is no separate charge for choice filling. Candidates must also note that only filling choices is not enough, they must lock the choices within the stipulated date after verifying the choices and the preference order.
The NEET result is declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in an online mode. Once the NEET result is declared, candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download their scorecards.
1. Visit the official website - neet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET
2. Click on the link indicating NEET scorecard download
3. Enter the NEET application number and date of birth or password
4. Enter the security pin
5. Download the NEET scorecard PDF document
6. Take multiple printouts
After checking the scores, percentile and rank of NEET, candidates must preserve the NEET scorecard PDF properly till the admission or the counselling rounds are over. This is one of the most crucial documents which is verified by the counselling authorities.
The MCC started the registration for NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling on August 5. Candidates needed to register at mcc.nic.in. The last date for registration was August 15, till 2.00 PM.
The Re NEET result 2026 has been released at neet.nta.nic.in. The NTA also released the NEET Scorecard under the candidate's login.

The MCC has not announced the NEET counsellind round 2 revised dates 2026 yet. The round 2 schedule announced earlier has been delayed due to the postponement of round 1 seat allotment result.
