The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has officially postponed the Written Examination for Ph.D Admissions - 2025, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the NIFT Head Office in Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

This decision comes after widespread travel disruptions following India’s "Operation Sindoor", a national security initiative currently underway. As part of heightened security protocols, 27 airports across the country have been temporarily closed for commercial operations until Saturday morning, severely affecting air travel and the movement of candidates.

In light of these developments, the examination has been deferred to ensure the safety and convenience of all applicants.

NIFT has stated that a revised date for the examination will be announced soon on its official website. Candidates are advised to monitor the website for further updates regularly.
