Speculations on Rescheduling of JEE Advanced 2025 Due to Operation Sindoor

JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 18, and the admit card will be out on May 11. Amid India-Pakistan tension, some candidates fear the rescheduling of the major exams like JEE Advanced and CUET UG.
On May 7, the Indian Armed Forces carried out a military operation called ‘Operation Sindoor’. This involved targeted strikes on nine camps for terrorists located in Pakistan and areas of Jammu and Kashmir that are controlled by Pakistan. This action was a response to a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people, many of whom were tourists, lost their lives.
Following this incident, there has been growing concern among students who are preparing for important national exams, particularly the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) and the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) for 2025. Many students are anxious about whether the ongoing conflict will cause changes to the exam schedules.
