NEET PG 2024 Counselling: MCC Reduces Cut off Percentiles for Each Category
MCC has reduced cut off percentile for NEET PG 2024 counselling. The cut off has been earmarked 15 percentile for general while for SC/ST, the cut off percentile is 10. Candidates who fulfil eligibility as per the revised cut off will participate in the counselling rounds. round-3 seat allotment result will be released soon.
NEET PG 2024 cut off percentile has been reduced by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The cut off has been reduced for each category. AS per the notification, general and EWS candidates who scored 15 percentiles and above can participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling.
Similarly, the cut off percentile for SC/ST has been reduced to 10. Candidates who will have the cut off as per the revised scheme, will be participating in the counselling rounds for NEET PG 2024.
โIt is for the information to candidates that as per decision taken by MoHFW in consultation with NMC, the percentile for NEET PG counselling 2024 has been lowered,โ the notification said.
NEET PG round-3 seat allotment soon
As the cut off has been revised, the counselling result is expected to be declared soon. The counselling result will be uploaded on the official website in the PDF format, comprising details such as roll number, allotted institute and course, category etc.
MCC has already conducted two rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling online. Candidates have to register online and declare choices to participate in the counselling rounds. A separate seat allotment result is released for each counselling rounds.
MCC will announce dates and schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling along with the official brochure. The counselling is expected to begin in the last week of September 2025. Registration is mandatory to participate in the counselling. After registration, candidates will have to declare choice for college and course and lock the choices. MCC allots seats based on choice declared, reservation factor, availablity of seats and other factors.
