NEET PG 2024 Counselling: A day after round-2 registration, choice filling for NEET PG 2024 counselling round-2 will begin on Thursday, December 5 online. Candidates will have to declare preferences of choice of college and course in the given deadline. Deadline for round-2 NEET PG 2024 choice filling is December 9, 2024, 11: 55 pm. It must be noted choice filled will have to be locked in the order of preferences. The choice locking process will begin from 4 pm of December 9 till 11: 55 pm of same day. Candidates can declare as many choices as they want. The seat matrix for round-2 NEET PG counselling 2024 will be released soon.

Candidates will have to login to the official website of MCC and declare choices in order of their preferences. Check the steps given below to declare choices for NEET PG 2024 round-2 counselling:
Steps to declare NEET PG 2024 choices
- Go to the MCC website.mcc.nic.in
- Log in with registration credentials
- Fill the choice of college and course for NEET PG seat allotment 2024
- Click on ‘+’ button to add a new choice
- For rearranging the order of choice filled, just drag it to the desired position
- Click on ‘save and next’ to lock the final choices as desired by candidates
Based on declared choices by candidate, NEET PG 2024 rank, availability of seats, reservation factors, etc, MCC will release seat allotment result. The seat allotment result will be released in PDF format. As per the schedule, round-2 NEET PG 2024 counselling result will be declared on December 12, 2024.
No, online registration for NEET PG counselling is a one-time process. Those who have already registered once don't need to register again. Only those candidates who have not registered themselves during round 1 need to register for the round 2/mop-up round. Registration can be done in any round except last one on the official website. Mcc. Nic. In. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats.
If you opt to participate in the second round of NEET PG and you are allotted seat in that round, only in that case, your candidature for round-1 gets cancelled. If you will not be allotted seat in round-2, previously allotted seats in round-1 will not be cancelled. MCC conducts a total of 4 rounds of NEET PG counselling for seat allocation.
