In our college, facilities and infrastructure are top-notch.
Placements: In our college, almost 99% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.4 crores per annum and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like FANG, Fortune 500 companies, etc., visit our campus. Almost 75% of students get internships at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. It is a 3-tier college and placements are good. Almost 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good and the quality of food served is average. Facilities and infrastructure are excellent. Around 5938 books, 2710 journals, 25 encyclopedias, 20 self-learning tutorials, and 850 video programs are available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful except for some. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a medium level. The pass percentage is 90%. We have more than 3000 faculty and staff members, as well as a large and vibrant group of SRM alumni and students.
Other: IoT is trending and it is the most needed course in industries in India.

It is a good college with a good crowd, but the college needs to be improved a bit.
Placements: About 80% of the students attended the placement drives, and around 30-60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 1 crore per annum, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Microsoft and Value Labs. Out of 100%, about 80% of the students got internships. Companies that offer internships are Dell, HCL, Jio and few startups. The top roles offered are full-stack developer, data engineer, app developer and UI or UX designer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good until 1st year only because there are air-conditioned classrooms until the first year. From the second year, there are non-air-conditioned classrooms, and tables and chairs are also not proper in classrooms. The infrastructure of the hostel is good for all years. The hostel mess is awesome. Wi-Fi facility and cleanliness in the hostel are also very good.
Faculty: Some teachers in our course are very good, but some are average. The teaching quality is good. I think the course curriculum is not relevant because, in our course, our college has added some subjects which are not at all useful to us. They are biology, mechanical subjects etc.
Other: I have chosen CSE because I want to become a full-stack developer. The best things about our course are that there is not much to cramp, and there are many things to understand. If non-relevant subjects are removed from our course, then this course would be awesome. Non-academic activities are awesome in our college.

Placements: About 95% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is 41.5 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA and the average package is 11 LPA. 95% of students got internships in many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Adobe, etc. Top roles offered in our course is from Amazon.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are goods and labs, classrooms, and the library are of the best quality. The quality of the hostel is good but there are some problems with the mess and the canteen. Medical facilities, sports and games are better for us. Sports facilities are provided for many games including cricket ground, football ground, basketball and many indoor games like chess, carrom, Ludo, snake ladder.
Faculty: The teachers help students and the behaviour of teachers towards students is like a father to son/daughter. Their teaching quality is the best. Semester exams are not difficult for students. It's difficult for those who have not studied. The pass percentage is 99 percentile. This course curriculum is relevant for students because we love this curriculum relevant and studies. And yes, it makes students industry-ready because teachers help students in every situation.
Other: I chose this course because it was my childhood dream. Every fest, and event conducted here are the best in this university.

For B.Tech Programs offered by the Department of Biotechnology, Department of Genetic Engineering and Department of Biomedical Engineering – Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM / PMB/PCB/PCB or Z (Botany or Zoology). Students who have not studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in +2 must undertake an additional 4 credit courses in Mathematics during the First Year of B.Tech.
Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
Students who have not studied Chemistry should undergo a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year.
Candidate Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
