UP Board 12th Exams 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh) has commenced the UP Board 12th compartment and Improvement exam registration on May 19. Students who want to appear for the compartment/ Improvement exam can apply for the same till June 10, 2025. UPMSP will soon announce the UP Board 12th compartment exam date 2025. However, as per trend and reports, the board is likely to hold the UPMPS 12th compartment and Improvement exams 2025 in June/July 2025.

The board released the UP Board Result 2025 Class 12 on April 25, 2025 at 12.30 pm. As per reports, the board has completed the answer sheet evaluation and result drafting process and is all set to release the UP Board 12th result 2025. The board will publish the Class 12 UPMSP Board Result 2025 online on its website at www.upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. The students can check their UP Board class 12 result 2025 using their roll number and school code.

Latest Updates:

The board conducted the UP 12th board exams 2025 between February 24 and March 12, 2025, in pen and paper format. The UP Intermediate exams were conducted in two shifts (8:00 am to 11:15 am and 2 pm to 5:15 pm). UPMSP 12th practicals were conducted in two phases. The first phase of UP 12th practical exams were held from February 1 to 8, 2025 and the second phase from February 9 to 16, 2025.

UP Board 12th Result 2025

UPMSP announced the UP Board 10th result 2025 on April 25, 2025. The UP Board 12th result 2025 is released in online mode on board's website. The students can check their UPMSP result 2025 class 12 online at www.upmsp.edu.in 2025 and www.upresults.nic.in 2025. UP Board 12th Passing Marks

UPMSP class 12 exams are held for a total of 100 marks. The UP Board class 12 exams are based on CCE Pattern, according to which, all the subjects having practicals will have the marks divided into 70 and 30, viz, 70 marks for the theory part of the exam, while 30 marks will be allotted to the practical exam. UP class 12 Grading system for both theory and practical and CCE valuation system followed by the State Board are specified in the following sections:

  • The marks obtained in practical subjects, sports, and physical education are added to prepare the final result of UP Board Intermediate
  • Minimum 33% of marks are needed to be scored by the Intermediate student of UP Board to pass the exams

About UP Board 12th

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) was set up in 1921 as an act of the United Provinces Legislative Council. The Education Council is the highest institution in the world to conduct high school (10th class) and higher secondary (12th class) examinations. The UP Board is headquartered in Prayagraj, originally called Allahabad. The Board is Asia’s largest board in terms of the number of students appearing every year. At present, there are more than 22,000 secondary schools recognized by the board and it conducts the examinations and prepares results of more than 55 lakh students. In 2024, a total of 24,52,830 students appeared for the UP Board class 12 exams. 

Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation, and re-totaling or can also get their answer scripts by demanding a photocopy after checking their UP Board Result. To get one subject paper reevaluated, candidates are required to pay INR 500 instead of INR 100 earlier.

In 2024, the board conducted the UP Board 12th board exam 2024 from February 22 and March 9, 2024, and UPMSP 12th result 2024 was out on April 20, 2024.

Last year, the Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that Board exams will be conducted twice a year from the session 2024. The main objective behind conducting the exam twice is to allow the students to retain the best score in the exam. As per the MoE, the exams will be based on the new curriculum which has been developed for the academic session 2023-24. However, as of now, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has not confirmed that the UP Board exams will also be held Twice a year. As of now, the board has not released any notification regarding the changes in the UPMSP 12th exam pattern. The board releases the exam pattern in the form of sample paper. UPMSP class 12 sample question papers 2025 are expected to be released soon. Chance of any major change in UPMSP 12th exam pattern 2024 is very less. In 2023, the board made a few changes in the exam pattern. Theory paper exams for most of the stream papers are held for a total of 70 marks while 30 marks are distributed for practical exams.
