Every year, more than 25 lakh students appear for UP Board class 12 exams. For class 10 and 12 exams 2024, a total of 55,08,206 students registered. In 2023, the board made a few changes in the exam pattern. Theory paper exams for most of the stream papers are held for a total of 70 marks while 30 marks are distributed for practical exams. Yes, UPMSP allows students to apply for marks verification if they are not satisfied. After the declaration of the UP Board result, the students are given time to apply for verification of marks. If any students are not happy with the marks they have scored in the exam must fill out an online application form for the same. After the board receives applications, they will recheck the answer sheets of such students and make changes in the marks if required.

The board released the UP Board 12th practical exam date 2026. As per the announced UPMSP 12th practical exam schedule, the first phase of UP Board 12th practical exams was held from January 24 to February 1, 2026 and the second phase from February 2 to 9, 2026.
