GK Questions for NIFT 2026 Exam - The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct the NIFT 2025 exam in the second week of February. The written exams for NIFT comprise the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT)While the CAT paper is meant only for B.Des and M.Des aspirants, the GAT paper is mandatory for all courses. The GAT paper for the exam will include 15 multiple-choice questions from the General Knowledge and Current Affairs section. GK Questions for GAT paper - FAQs

Q. When will NIFT 2025 exam be conducted?

A. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct the written exams for NIFT 2025 on February 9, 2025. The exam included the GAT and the CAT papers.

Q. Do B.Des candidates need to take the CAT written test?

A. The NIFT written exam includes the CAT and GAT written tests. While the GAT paper is mandatory for all candidates, only B.Des and M.Des applicants need to take the CAT paper. 

Q. How many questions are asked from the GK and current affairs section of GAT?

A. The GAT question paper will have a total of 15 questions from the GK and Current Affairs sections. Note that the B.Des paper will have a total of 100 questions, while the M.Des paper will have 120 questions.
