UCEED Toppers 2023 - IIT Bombay announced the results of the UCEED 2023 exam on March 9, 2023. The results can be checked online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The scorecard of the exam will be available for download from March 11. IIT Bombay hasn’t yet declared the list of tippers; it has, however, announced the toppers for CEED 2023. The results of CEED 2023 were declared on March 7, 2023.

The list of UCEED 2023 Toppers will be notified by IIT Bombay on its admission portal shortly. The topper list will be released in the form of a PDF notification, and contain the names of the toppers, their UCEED 2023 scores, and their gender. The photographs of the AIR 2 candidates will also be released.

Q:   What are the exam cities where the UCEED 2024 exam will be conducted?
A: 

IIT Bombay will relese the updated list of UCEED 2024 exam centres through the information brochure. Note that in the previous edition, the UCEED exam was held in 24 cities in India. Here is the list of exam cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulum, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam. Note that each of the each city could have one or more exam centres. The allotment of exam centres would be done based on the exam city selected by the candidate, address, and total applicants.

Q:   What is the validity of the UCEED 2026 scorecard?
A: 

UCEED 2026 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. The scorecard was made available for download on March 10, 2026. 

Scorecard contains Part A marks for all candidates who appeared in the UCEED 2026 entrance exam. However, Part B, total marks, and merit ranks are released only for candidates who qualify Part A. 

Q:   What is UCEED 2026 important dates?
A: 

The important dates of UCEED 2026 cover events like the commencement and deadline to fill out the UCEED application, admit card release and exam date, result date, and seat allotment schedule. This means the important dates will cover all the events starting from the release of admission notification to the completion of the admission process. The candidate can keep track of upcoming events by consulting the important dates.

The important dates for UCEED 2026 have been released by IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay has the authority to change a pre-announced date; so candidates need to stay updated by visiting this space.

Q:   When will the new website be launched for UCEED 2026 exam?

IIT Bombay launched the new website for the UCEED 2026 exam on October 1, 2025 - uceed.iitb.ac.in.

New website carries information like important dates, an information brochure, and the candidate portal. There is also a download section, from where the candidate will be able to download useful resources like previous years question papers and answer keys.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2026 exam be conducted?

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am – 12 noon). The exam had two mandatory parts: the computer-based Part A and the offline Part B. The UCEED 2025 admission portal was uceed.iitb.ac.in, which hosted all key updates including the information brochure, eligibility criteria, syllabus, candidate portal, and downloadable resources like previous years' question papers and answer keys. 

Q:   When will IIT Bombay release the list of exam centres for UCEED 2024?
A: 

IIT Bombay will release the list of exam centres for UCEED 2024 sometime in September 2023. Note that IIT Bombay will only release the list of exam cities. The name of the exam UCEED 2024 centre allocated to be candidate will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate can check the list of exam cities in the information brochure. In the previous edition of UCEED the exam was administered in 24 cities across India. The candidate had to select their choice of exam city at the time of filling out the application form.

UCEED Result 2023

IIT Bombay has announced the results for the UCEED 2023 result online through the candidate portal. To check their UCEED 2023 results, the candidate needs to follow the steps given below.

  • Go to the result portal - Click Here
  • The UCEED 2023 log-in window will open
  • Enter your email id and password 
  • On log-in, the result of UCEED 2023 will be displayed on the screen

Candidates can download their UCEED 2023 scorecards from March 11 to June 13, 2023. The scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its issue.

Details mentioned on the UCEED 2023 scorecard (result)

The scorecard will include Part A marks, category-wise qualifying marks, and candidate details like the name, signature, and photograph of the candidate.

However, the total marks, merit ranks, and Part B score will only be available for shortlisted candidates.

Note that to get shortlisted, the candidate must have scored the cut-off marks for Part A - UCEED 2023.

CEED 2023 Cut-off 

IIT Bombay released the Part A cut-off marks as mean and standard deviations on February 9, 2023. The mean deviation for Part A (UCEED 2023) is 57.63; the standard deviation is 24.52.

Part B answer booklets of the candidate are evaluated only for such candidates who meet the Part A cut-off. 

Note that the Part A cut-off is not the admission cut-off.

The UCEED 2023 admission cut-off will be announced at the time of seat allotment.

UCEED 2023 counseling and seat allotment

The counseling registration for UCEED 2023 will be conducted from March 11-31, 2023. Shortlisted candidates need to get registered based on their UCEED 2023 scores and select participating colleges in the order of priority.

The counseling will have three rounds of seat allotment,

UCEED 2023 seat allotment for Round I will be announced on April 10, 2023.

If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.

To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.

To be eligible to apply for B.Des programme through UCEED, candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects in 10+2.
