BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022: Check Age Limit & Academic Qualification

In case candidates are not satisfied with their BITSAT seat allotment, they can choose to let go their seats and remain on wait list. Candidates on wait list can participate in the next round of BITSAT counselling to have a chance of being allotted into their preferred course and campus. In case there are vacant seats, the candidates will have the chance of being allotted into their preferences. Confirmation of admission can be done by verifying the documents and paying the required fee.

Yes. Candidates who apply for both sessions of BITSAT will be able to access the slot booking facility separately for each session. Through the BITSAT slot booking process, the candidates will be able to book their preferred examination date and time as per the availability. BITSAT exam centre will be allotted as per the candidate's preference submitted in the application form. The available slots as per the allotted exam centre will be displayed and the candidates will have to select their preference.

According to official BITSAT eligibility criteria, there is no specified age criteria for candidates to be able to take part in the BITSAT admission process. However, candidates must qualify 12th standard qualifying examination in 2025 or 2026. Candidates who have passed the 12th standard in 2023 or before are not eligible for BITSAT 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the eligibility criteria of BITSAT 2026 before proceeding to register for the entrance test.

Yes. The candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology for their 10+2th standard qualifying examination will be eligible to apply for BITSAT. However, these candidates will only be eligible for B.Pharma admissions. Since BTech/BE admissions require Mathematics as a compulsory subject, the candidates who have opted for Biology in their 10+2th standard examination will not be able to apply for the engineering entrance examination.

The scholarship policy may vary depending on the level of study and the course. International students who score a minimum CGPA of 8.0 are eligible for an 80% waiver in tuition fees. Moreover, students who secure the first rank in their respective board examinations are eligible for direct admission.
