GATE 2021 Response Sheet: IIT Bombay has released the response sheet of GATE 2021 on February 18. Candidates will need to login to GOAPS website using their enrolment ID and password to check the response sheet.

The step by step process to download GATE response sheet has been given below:

  • Log in to the official GOAPS website (https://appsgate.iitb.ac.in/) website
  • After successful login, click on the “View Response” tab
  • The GATE 2021 response sheet will appear on the screen in PDF format
  • Download the GATE response sheet and take its multiple printouts

The candidate response sheet of GATE 2021 will comprise the responses marked by them during the exam. Along with the responses, candidates will find the following details in the GATE response sheet 2021:

  • Participant Name
  • Test Center Name

Total marks obtained for correct attempts – Negative marks for incorrect attempts

MCQ Marks: Total marks (1 marks) + Total marks (2 marks)

Total marks (1 marks) = 1 x number of correct answers – 1/3 x number of wrong answers

Total marks (2 marks) = 2 x number of correct answers – 2/3 x number of wrong answers

NAT Marks: Total marks (1 marks) + Total marks (2 marks)

Final GATE 2021 Score: MCQ Marks + NAT Marks

GATE 2021 Answer Key

The authorities will release the final GATE 2021 answer key by February 21 along with the question papers. The answer key will contain the correct answers as per the question paper. Students will be able to challenge the provisional answer key if required. After considering the objections raised by candidates, the authorities will issue the final answer key.

The exam conducting authority will release the GATE 2021 result on March 22. It is expected that the final GATE 2021 answer key will also be released along with the result. candidates can watch the page to know regular updates regarding the exam.

Candidates need to graduate from BTech at IIT Dhanbad with a minimum GPA of 8.0 or above to qualify for M.Tech admissions without GATE. Only the candidates who clear BTech from IIT Dhanbad are allowed admissions without GATE into M.Tech at II Dhanbad with the aforementioned score.

No, the GATE 2026 has already been concluded for IIT Dhanbad M.Tech admissions. The GATE 2026 registrations are closed in the month of October. Candidates who have appeared for GATE will need to wait for all merit-lists to be revealed.

The PhD admissions to the Institute Assistantship courses at IIT Guwahati require candidates to appear for the GATE or CEED. 

However, PhD admissions to the other categories of PhD courses at IIT Guwahati are not decided on the basis of the aforementioned entrance exams scores.

Bachelor's degree holder from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 or above can get direct admission in M.Tech programme of IIT Dhanbad without GATE. The respective department reviews such applications and seats for such aspirants are supernumerary.

Yes, you can get M.Tech admission without a GATE  in Bangalore colleges through institute specific entrance exams. The seats are sponsored in IITs and NITS. Private and state universities also offer direct admissions via their own tests or merit.
