The NTA will conduct the JEE Main today’s exam in two shifts. Shift-1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and shift-2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. The complete JEE Mains exam timings are provided in the below table

JEE Main 2021 Exam Day Instructions
The NTA is conducting JEE Main 2021 session 4 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Strict measures have been implemented by NTA at all the exam centres as per the guidelines. Students are advised to to follow the below mentioned instructions at the JEE Main exam centre

Candidates need to bring their own geometry box, pencil, eraser and other required items for drawing part of JEE Main 2021 Paper 2A.

Candidates should report to the exam centre only as per the reporting time mentioned in their JEE Main Admit card 2021

Candidates should avoid social gathering at the exam centre and maintain a distance of 6-feet with each other all the time

Face maks, hand gloves and sanitizers are to be carried by the candidates

Candidates should not carry any prohibited item inside the exam hall

Candidates nee to carry their JEE Main admit card, one photo and a ID proof at the exam centre.
JEE Main 2021 Paper 2A and 2B – Important Details
The Paper 2A and 2B of JEE Main 2021 are conducted for admission to Architecture and Planning courses respectively. JEE Main 2021 Paper 2A will have questions of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing while Paper 2B will have questions of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Planning.

September 2. 12:00 PM: Shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2 September 2021 has concluded. In mornin shift, paper 2A for B.Arch was held.
September 2. 08:45 AM: Shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2 September 2021 has begun.
September 2. 08:45 AM: Gates of exam centre have been closed. No students are allowed to enter the exam hall.
September 2. 08:30 AM: Gates of exam centre have been closed. Late comer students are however still allowed to enter.
September 2, 08:25 AM: Gates of exam centre are about to close. Guards are asking students standing outside the exam centre to enter the exam hall.
September 2, 08:15 AM: Temperature of students are being checked using Thermo Guns frisking is done through hand-held metal detectors.
September 2, 08:10 AM: Students are provided fresh 3-ply face mask and are being asked to remove the mask they are wearing.
September 2, 08:00 AM: Gates of exam centre have been closed. Students have started entering the exam centre.
