JEE Main 2021 in multiple sessions: Is it good or bad
Is it good that the JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in multiple sessions? The question is bothering the majority of students. They also have a doubt that whether the multiple sessions will affect their performance in JEE Main and CBSE 12th board exams 2021.
So, for students’ clarity, multiple sessions of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main will help the candidates to perform well in both the exams. Preparing for JEE Main will help the students to revise the entire syllabus of the CBSE 12th board exam.
Moreover, multiple sessions will give students the benefit of choosing the JEE Main as per their board exam dates. Candidates can skip the May session of the engineering entrance test as the CBSE class 12 board exam will begin from May, 2021.
However, to get good marks in both the exams, aspirants must prepare a study plan keeping in mind the exam dates. They can check for the tips in this regard below.
Preparing the entire JEE Main 2021 syllabus
Candidates must prepare according to the JEE Main 2021 syllabus as it will also help them in preparing for their board exams. The only thing that every student must keep in mind is the difference between the type of questions asked in JEE Main and Class 12 board exams. The students will need to dedicate separate study hours in a day to prepare as per the exam pattern of JEE Main 2021 and CBSE board exams.
Though the syllabus has been reduced by the CBSE for class 12 board exams, most of the topics in the deducted syllabus are required to understand the concepts in other chapters for JEE Main 2021. So, students should try to cover the entire syllabus.
Difference in Exam Pattern
As the exam pattern of both the exams is different, students must prepare accordingly. Class 12 board papers contain theoretical questions but in case of JEE Main only multiple-choice questions and numerical value type questions will be asked. Here students need to keep a balance in their board exam preparation and engineering entrance with a focus on the respective exam’s pattern.
The above tips will help the candidates to resolve their doubts regarding the preparation of JEE Main 2021 and CBSE class 12 board exams. Along with this candidates can devise a study plan so that they can get good marks in both the exams.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology accepts JEE Main scores for admission in BTech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with WBJEE or CE-AMPAI scores can also get admission in BTech provided they also meet the eligibility criteria.
