JEE Main 2021 will be based on the new exam pattern released recently by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  As per the new exam pattern, students will now be required to attempt 75 out of 90 questions. Students will be required to prepare for the exam keeping in mind that the CBSE class 12 board exams will be conducted from May 4 to June 10. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ during his interactions with students revealed that conducting JEE Main in multiple sessions is likely to give more flexibility to students.

How to take advantage of the new JEE Main 2021 exam pattern?

The paper - 1 (BTech) of JEE Main will be divided into sections. Section-A will comprise Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section-B will contain numerical value questions. The section is important for candidates as they will need to attempt any five questions out of 10 and there will be no negative marking. This can be a deciding factor for a student. Candidates can attempt all the questions in this section and in case of all correct answers, candidates will get 20 marks. In an exam where one mark can change rank by thousands, 20 marks will help them to get ahead of many students. Students must take advantage of this opportunity.

Candidates must not collect irrelevant study material for JEE main 2021 preparation point of view. National Test Abhyas App

Last year, the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ (then HRD Minister) launched the National Test Abhyas app, developed by the NTA, for JEE Main and NEET aspirants. Since then, it has been a popular choice among students to attempt questions of entrance exam level. The app is available on Google Play Store.
