Paper 2 BArch and Bplan Question Paper with Answer Key
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Paper 2: The JEE Main 2026 April session Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Plan) is conducted successfully today, April 7. According to students who appeared for the JEE Main Paper 2A and 2B, the paper was moderate to tough. Maths had a few lengthy and tricky questions. Drawing section was easy, although some found it to be confusing. Students shared that higher accuracy was needed to solve maths and aptitude questions. Average safe attempts were around 30 questions. Students also shared JEE Main 2026 April 7 memory-based questions, some of them are shared below -

Candidates can check the allotted JEE Mains 2026 exam date on their JEE admit card and also on the city intimation slip.
To participate in the JEE Main counselling, candidates will need to upload the following documents at the time of JoSAA registration. Class 10 mark sheet/certificate, Class 12 Certificate of category (if applicable), PwD Certificate (if applicable). After the seat allotment, while reporting to the institute, candidates will also need to submit documents like JoSAA seat allotment letter, JEE Main/Advanced admit card, Gap Certificate (if gap after class 12).
A good score in JEE Main 2026 will be the score that either qualifies you for JEE Advanced or for admission to NIT/IIIT/GFTI of your choice.
Candidates can check JoSAA seat allotment result on the official JoSAA website. Candidates will have to log in to their JoSAA account using JEE Main application number and password.

Qualifying marks for JEE Mains 2026, also called qualifying percentile for JEE Mains will be announced by the NTA along with the JEE Main 2026 session 2 result. Candidates must note that qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2026 is the minimum percentile required to appear in JEE Advanced 2026. For admission to NIT or IIITs, there is no provision of qualifying marks in JEE Mains 2026 and admission is given based on All India Rank in JEE Mains exam. NTA will announce JEE Mains 2026 All India rank in April after session 2 exam results.
No, there is no change in JEE Main 2026 total number of questions and marking scheme. It is the same as pervious year.
JEE Main exam is conducted in online mode as a computer based test. This is conducted in 3 different courses. The exam for B.Tech and B. Plan is completely online while the exam for B.Arch is partially online and drawing part is conducted offline.
Candidates can check JoSAA opening and closing ranks on the official website. They have to enter the details asked to check the list of courses and colleges based on the OR and CR of each counselling round.

There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
JEE Main question paper is in English, Hindi and language selected when you filled application form. In total, JEE Main is in 13 languages and you can select any language out of available options. You cannot switch language of question paper during exam.
JEE Main mock tests are available online on nta.ac.in. Download these for free or you can also practice online. You can download JEE Main mock test papers for free from Shiksha page as well.
Students can download JEE Main previous year question paper from Shiksha page. Candidates are provided JEE Main previous year question papers from the year 2014 to 2025.
