JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Paper 2: The JEE Main 2026 April session Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Plan) is conducted successfully today, April 7. According to students who appeared for the JEE Main Paper 2A and 2B, the paper was moderate to tough. Maths had a few lengthy and tricky questions. Drawing section was easy, although some found it to be confusing. Students shared that higher accuracy was needed to solve maths and aptitude questions. Candidates can check the allotted JEE Mains 2026 exam date on their JEE admit card and also on the city intimation slip.
To participate in the JEE Main counselling, candidates will need to upload the following documents at the time of JoSAA registration. Class 10 mark sheet/certificate, Class 12 Certificate of category (if applicable), PwD Certificate (if applicable). After the seat allotment, while reporting to the institute, candidates will also need to submit documents like JoSAA seat allotment letter, JEE Main/Advanced admit card, Gap Certificate (if gap after class 12).
A good score in JEE Mains 2026 is 180 to 210+ marks, which translates to a 99+ percentile.

Qualifying marks for JEE Mains 2026, also called qualifying percentile for JEE Mains will be announced by the NTA along with the JEE Main 2026 session 2 result. Candidates must note that qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2026 is the minimum percentile required to appear in JEE Advanced 2026. For admission to NIT or IIITs, there is no provision of qualifying marks in JEE Mains 2026 and admission is given based on All India Rank in JEE Mains exam.
