The exam authorities has released the JoSAA 2022 Mechanical Engineering cutoff for Mechanical Engineering. The JoSAA cutoff for NITs Mechanical Engineering are released in the form of opening and closing rank. For more details, candidates can refer to the article given below.

Q: When will the JoSAA 2025 all-round cutoff be released?

Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2025. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.

Q: When was the JoSAA 2023 Round 5 Cutoff released?

The authority will release the official schedule of the JoSAA. It is expected that the Round 5 seat allotment will be released in July 2024, and the cutoff will also be published in July 2024 (tentatively) on the official website at josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks.

Q: Can I get NIT with 87 percentile in JEE Main?

Candidates can get NIT in 87 percentile if they belongs to an unreserved category. Candidates from unreserved category have a very low chance of getting into any NIT at 87 percentile. However, sometimes home-state quota can do a wonder.

Q: Can I get NIT with 95 percentile in JEE Main?

It is possible for you to secure a seat in an NIT (National Institute of Technology), although it may not guarantee your preferred branch or institute. If your percentile is above 96, your chances of getting into a respectable NIT increases, but you may need to compromise on your branch selection. However, if you aim for a decent NIT with a preferred branch in the core field, you would need to score above 97.5%. On the other hand, if your goal is to get admission to a top college with the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) branch, your score would need to be higher than 99.4%.

To be eligible for JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling:

Candidates should have JEE Advanced rank
Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam
Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class 12
In class 12, canmdidates must have score 75% aggregate marks or must be in top 20 p

If I do not get 75% in class 12 boards, but I pass the JEE Advanced exam, can I apply for JoSAA counselling?

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission
