MET Exam Dates 2027: Candidates will soon be able to check MET 2027 exam dates for both Phase 1 and 2 online at manipal.edu. Both Phase 1 and 2 MET exam dates 2027 will be released through official notification. MET 2027 exam will be held in April (Phase 1) and May (Phase 2) as a computer based test.

MET 2027 Exam Dates

MET 2027 Exam Dates: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has not yet announced MET exam dates 2027. The official MET 2027 exam schedule is expected to be released online at manipal.edu tentatively in January. Both Phase 1 and 2 MET exam dates will be announced, which will also include slot booking and admit card timeline. MET 2027 application form dates will be announced before the exam dates.

As per previous years’ trends, MET 2027 will be held tentatively in April (Phase 1) and May (Phase 2). Candidates can expect MET application form 2027 to be released in the last week of September 2026. Once official MET dates 2027 are announced, it will be updated on this article. What is the MET 2027 Exam Dates?

MAHE conducts MET exam 2027 in two phases. Both phases are held almost a month apart and candidates will be able to choose their preferred slots. MET 2027 Phase 1 exam is expected to be held in the third week of April and Phase 2 in the last week of May. Candidates can attempt one or both phases of MET exam.

Q:   Is NCERT books beneficial for MET preparation?
A: 

Yes, NCERT books are beneficial for MET preparation. Since the MET syllabus is similar to the 12th standard qualifying exam, the NCERT books will help the students to study and revise important topics and chapters for the exam. However, the students are also advised to check other important reference books for a more conceptual understanding.

Q:   Where to find the MET mock test?
A: 

MET mock test is available online at manipal.edu. All interested candidates will be able to attempt the mock test to prepare for the exam.

Q:   How to retrieve MET login password?
A: 

To retreive MET login password, candidates will have to go to the login portal and click on 'Forgot Password'. They will have to provide registered email ID and mobile number. The password reset link will be sent to the registered email address. 

Q:   What is the 12th standard marks required to be eligible for MET?
A: 

As per MET eligibility criteria, students should have atleast 50 percent marks in 12th class examination. Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject. For admission, 50% weightage will be given to 12th marks.

Where to Check Manipal MET Exam Dates 2027?           

The official MET 2027 exam dates will be updated at the official website manipal.edu. No other website will be used to make the exam date announcement. Both Phase 1 and 2 exam dates will be announced together at the official website.

MET 2027 Official Notification

MET official notification 2027 is expected to be released separately for registration and exam dates. First, MET application form 2027 will be released and the final registration date will also be announced. After registrations are opened, MET 2027 exam date notification is expected to be released and will consist of slot booking, admit card and examination date details for both Phase 1 and 2.

Q:   Is MET conducted in regional languages?
A: 

No, MET is not conducted in any regional language. All of the questions in the paper will be in English along with the options. Students should be prepared to attempt the exam in English language. In case of any issues, the students can ask the invigilators at the exam centre for guidance.

Q:   What is the total score in MET?
A: 

As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.

Q:   How can I prepare for MET?
A: 

For MET preparation, students have to understand exam pattern and syllabus. After knowing how exam will be held and important topics, they can prepare a study plan. Revision and mock tests should be done regularly. Students can also check previous year papers to choose important topics.

Q:   How many papers are there in MET?
A: 

MET exam will consist of one paper. However, there are four sections in the paper. Candidates will have to attempt questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

What are the MET 2027 exam timings?

MET exam 2027 will be held in multiple slots for both phases. During MET slot booking, candidates will be able to choose their preferred exam slot. For each exam date, two slots will be held.

How to Check Allotted MET 2027 Exam Date

Candidates will be able to select their preferred MET exam date and slot through online slot booking facility. After slot booking is completed, MET admit card 2027 will be issued. Through hall ticket, they will be able to check their allotted MET exam slot. Once exam slots are allotted, they cannot be changed. Candidates can follow steps given below to download hall ticket and check their allotted MET exam date 2027.

  • Go to official website.
  • Click on the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) link. 
  • Candidates will have to log in with their MAHE application number and OTBS password.
  • Once logged in, they will be able to download their hall ticket.
  • MET hall ticket will consist of information related to exam date, timings and more.

120 in MET is a good score, as it will give candidates higher chances of admission into core courses in participating campuses. This score has less chance of securing admission in CSE.

Overall, MET is easier than JEE Main since most questions are not as conceptually challenging as JEE Main. However, students face time management issues during MET.

SMIT MET cutoff 2026 has been released for the 3rd round of admission to the BTech courses. For the General AI category, the maximum rank accepted was 55828 for the BTech CSE course.
