Many of us prepare too much for an exam all over the year but due to some circumstances, we are somehow left behind in the preparation. So here I'm going to tell you the preparation tips for SRMJEE. SRMJEE is the joint entrance exam conducted by SRM University for its engineering colleges across various campuses.
Last Minute Preparation Tips:
Preparation for a complete year fades away if we lose our grip at the last time of the exam. Weeks before the examination are very crucial. We have to focus more at this time. As it is clear that we can't read or study the whole syllabus in that small time, so we need to focus on a strategic study rather than a complete study. We should revise our notes (brief notes) and after reading them topic-wise, we should attempt SRMJEEE previous years’ question papers on that topic. Previous years’ question papers are a must to get an idea about the exam pattern and the level of questions asked. Every subject must be given a particular time and timetable must be followed during this week at least. Last moment study is nothing but it is a way to give a spark to your memory and remind you of everything you studied all over the year.

Last moment study doesn’t need to be detailed, it should be short and comprehensive. It needs a quick tour of all the topics and important questions in very less time. Mark SRMJEEE question patterns from the previous year question papers which are repeating themselves. Practice these questions. Give more time to those topics which weigh more in the question paper. Write down every important formulas and relation equations which you need in the exam, this will definitely going to help you for last moment study.
Every competitive exam requires time management skills too. Only knowledge about topics will not be going to help you to achieve the goal. So now the big question arises - What are the efficient ways to save time and spent it on worthy questions? During preparation, we have to create a timetable and must have to follow this. Our time of sleep, meals and taking a bath, etc., activities other than study should be managed so that our study task which we targeted will get complete.
Now time management during the exam. First of all, we need to identify the questions which can be solved by us. Go for easy ones first, then moderate and save time for the tough ones at last.
Before starting your last preparation, make a list of topics with their weightage in the exam. This will help you to select the topics which need more preference than others. If you are unable to completely study the whole SRMJEEE syllabus then this will definitely help you. Observe the pattern of questions from the previous years’ question papers. This will give you an idea about the topics which can help you to score more.
Revision is one of the main weapons for a student in preparation. We study too much during the preparation but forget things at the last moment. If we revise the topics regularly we can remember those things for a long time, at least till the exam. So make sure that your study plan (timetable) must contain a slot for revision of those topics which you studied the day before.
Hope this experience I shared will help you to crack the exam and achieve whatever you need.

No, it is not mandatory to appear in all three phases of SRMJEEE. Candidates can appear in any one, two or all three phases, depending on their choice. If candidates appear in more than one phase, the best of all attempted score will be considered for admission.
