SRMJEEE 2026: The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has announced the SRMJEEE phase 2 result 2026. Candidates can check their scorecard by SRMJEEE candidate login portal. What is the SRMJEEE exam?
SRMJEEE is an annual entrance exam organised by SRMIST. It is conducted to shortlist candidates for B.Tech courses at its various campuses located in Chennai (Kattankulathur Vada Palani Rama Puram Tiruchirappalli) Delhi NCR (Ghaziabad UP) SRM University - Sonipat (Haryana) and SRM University AP (Andhra Pradesh).
The entrance test is held in remote-proctored mode which candidates can give from the comfort of their home through their personal laptops or desktops. It is a qualifying exam for all B.Tech courses. During the entrance test students will have to answer 130 questions and each question will carry 1 mark each. The total marks will be 130. There will be no negative marking in the exam prompting candidates to solve as many questions as they can without the fear of losing their marks. The SRMJEEE question paper will be based on subjects such as - Physics Chemistry Mathematics/Biology English & Aptitude sections. The difficulty level of the question paper will be 10+2 level.

SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
As per the SRMJEEE eligibility criteria 2026 Indian Residents or Non-Resident Indian (NRI) holders of a PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India can apply. They must have attained a minimum age of 16 years and 6 months on 31st of July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Students must have minimum 60% aggregate in Physics Mathematics and Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India CBSE ISCE Matriculation or NIOS.

SRMJEEE Step-by-Step Application Process (B.Tech)
1 - Register: Visit the official portal (applications.srmist.edu.in) to create an account and get a unique ID/password.
2 - Verify Email: Click the link in the confirmation email from SRM University.
3 - Login & Fill Form: Log in and provide personal educational (PCM/PCB for Biotech) and contact details.
4 - Upload Documents: Upload scanned photo and signature.
5 - Pay Fee: Pay the INR 1400 application fee online.
6 - Print Form: Download and print the submitted form for future reference.

The SRMJEEE Application Form 2026 is currently open for phase 3 exam and candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply till June 30. To fill the application form students have to visit the website- applications.srmist.edu.in/btech. While filling application form students must register verify their email ID upload scanned documents of SRMJEEE photograph and signature in prescribed format and pay an application fee. The application fee is INR 1400 which can be paid in online mode.
SRMJEEE 2026 Admit Card
SRMIST issues the SRMJEEE admit card 2026 to all students after the complete slot booking. Its is mandatory to exercise SRMJEEE slot booking to appear in the exam after which the admit card will be issued under their respective logins. The admit card comprises the exam date and time and as the test is conducted in RPOM mode students must not transfer it to another person. During the test students will have to present their admit card along with one valid photo ID on the screen. The admit card must be kept until the entire admission process is completed.
SRMJEEE 2026 Syllabus and Pattern
SRMIST has released the SRMJEEE syllabus and mentions it on their official website and notification PDF. Students can check the syllabus to know subjects topics and sub-topics on which the question paper will be based. The syllabus is based on topics from the 10+2 level in Maths/Biology Physics Chemistry and English. Candidates will have to attempt a few questions from the Aptitude section.
Along with the syllabus students must also check patterns to know the sections time duration and marking scheme of the exam. According to the SRMJEEE exam pattern the question paper will be in multiple-choice format and will be held in online remote proctored mode students can take it from anywhere via their personal laptops/computers installed with a web camera. There will be 130 questions and each question will carry 1 mark each with no negative marking. The difficulty level is of 10+2 level and the questions are based on NCERT Physics Chemistry Maths/Bio.
SRMJEEE 2026 Preparation Tips
As SRMJEEE is one of popular private engineering entrance exams in India students must prepare for SRMJEEE effectively to ensure they have an upper hand over the competition. The first step to prepare is by referring to syllabus and pattern and next step is to know nature of exam and how to strategise the preparation strategy. Students must create a list of subjects based on tough to easy parameter and they can pick the difficult topics and allot more time to prepare. SRMJEEE 2026 Result and Cut off
SRMIST declared the SRMJEEE phase 2 result 2026 at srmist.edu.in on June 22. To view qualification status candidates have to log in to official portal and download rank card by using login using credentials - SRMJEEE application number and date of birth. The SRMJEEE result with marks details has been also sent to candidates in their registered email ID.
The result have candidate's name application number roll number rank etc and will be released separately. Students qualifying will be eligible for admission into different campuses of SRMIST subject to meeting other eligibility criteria. The cut off marks is minimum marks candidates must score to qualify. Students who rank as per the ranks will only be allowed to participate in the counselling process. The SRMJEEE cut off 2026 is set by SRMIST every year. SRMIST does not release cutoff officially but candidates can keep checking the - srmist.edu.in for latest updates.
The cutoff is decided based on various factors such as - difficulty level of exam total number of candidates taking exam number of available seats etc. For admission to BTech CSE offered by SRMIST Chennai campus candidates may need to get a rank within 10000 to 20000.
SRMJEEE 2026 Counselling
SRMIST will soon announce the dates for counselling. Candidates who have qualified in the exam can participate in the SRMJEEE counselling process. The counselling includes choice filling seat acceptance seat allotment issuance of provisional admission letter (PAL) and tuition fee payment.
For online counselling students will be informed through email or text messages. The seat allotment and fee payment facility will be open from official website. The counselling is held separately for each phase.
