Vellore Institute of Technology has ended the VITEEE 2024 counselling process. All qualified candidates had to participate in the VITEEE counselling 2024 process as per their obtained ranks. VITEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

VITEEE 2024 eligibility criteria consist of the requirements that the candidates will have to meet to participate in the entrance examination. Candidates were advised to check the VITEEE eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

• Age Limit: Candidates who are born on or after July 1, 2002, will be eligible for VITEEE 2024.
• Nationality: Should be of Indian Nationality. NRI and PIO/OCI candidates will also be eligible for admission if they have studied the preceding two years in Indian schools.
• Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have completed or will be completing this year any of the following examinations:
  • 10+2th final examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.
  • Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • As per VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.
  • Candidates who have studied Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.
• Required Marks: Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the 10+2th standard qualifying exam (or equivalent exam). However, SC/ST, J&K, and North Eastern State candidates should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

VITEEE 2024 Application Form

The authorities have ended the VITEEE 2024 application form process at vit.ac.in. All candidates were required to fill out and submit the VIT application form before the extended last date i.e., April 10, 2024, to participate in the entrance examination. While filling VITEEE application form, the candidates had to fill in their personal, academic and contact details.

Steps to Fill VITEEE Application Form 2024

• Registration: In the first step, the candidates had to complete their registration process. The login credentials were generated after the registration was completed.
• Filling of the Form: Next, the candidates had to fill out the VITEEE 2024 application form with personal, academic and communication details.
• Fee Payment: Candidates had to pay the required application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/PayTM.
• Uploading of Documents: Candidates had to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
• Submission of Form: Finally, the candidates had to submit the filled VIT application form.

Registered candidates could access the VITEEE 2024 admit card after the slot booking process was over. The admit card was an important document since it had the details of the exam centre, time, date, instructions and more. While reporting to the exam centre, the candidates had to present the VIT 2024 admit card along with a photo identity proof. Failure to present the admit card led to the disqualification of the candidate.

VIT has announced the VITEEE result 2024 online at vit.ac.in on May 3. Candidates can check their obtained score and rank through the VIT 2024 result. It is to be noted that the VITEEE result was not sent through email or post. Candidates were advised to keep the result safe until the admission process is over.
