Yes, the students will be required to pay a fee to raise objections against the provisional WBJEE answer key. For every objection, the students will have to pay INR 500. The mode of fee payment is online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.
WBJEE final answer key will be prepared after objections against the provisional key are checked. To prepare result, final WBJEE answer key will be used. The authorities will not accept any objections against final key.
WBJEE 2026 exam will have two papers. Paper 1 will be Mathematics and Paper 2 will be Physics and Chemistry.
WBJEE is held as an offline test. Mathematics will have 75 questions and Physics and Chemistry will have 80 questions each. Total number of questions in WBJEE is 155.

According to official pattern, WBJEE exam will be held as an offline test. Candidates will have to attempt category wise questions for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Marking scheme will be different for every question category.
There is negative marking in WBJEE. For category 1 questions, one fourth mark will be deducted, and for category 2 questions, it is half mark. There is no negative marking for category 3 questions.
WBJEE exam pattern is essential for preparation. Through exam pattern, candidates can know what to expect in the examination and accordingly prepare for it.
WBJEE question paper will have three categories. Category 1 and 2 questions will have only one correct option. Category 3 questions may have one or more correct options.

WBJEE 2026 Result
WBJEEB has not announced the official WBJEE 2026 result date. Through result, students can check their obtained scores and rank in the entrance exam. To download WBJEE result, they will have to log in using their application number and password. It is to be noted that result can be downloaded as WBJEE 2026 rank card. All qualified candidates will have to register for WBJEE counselling 2026 for admissions into participating colleges.
