WBJEE 2026 Exam Timings (OUT): West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE exam timings 2026. Students were advised to carefully check the official WBJEE exam timings, to know when Paper 1 & 2 will be conducted. WBJEE 2026 exam was divided into two papers – Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). For admissions into BTech courses, both papers have to be attempted. Total duration for each paper is 2 hours. WBJEE exam 2026 was held as a pen and paper based test.

WBJEE 2026 Exam Timings

WBJEE exam 2026 was conducted as a pen and paper based test. Both Paper 1 (Maths) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) had to be attempted for BTech admission. During the scheduled break in between, students could leave the WBJEE exam centre 2026, but they were not allowed to leave the premises.

While reporting at the WBJEE exam centre, the students are advised not to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, smart watches, etc. No printed or textual materials will be allowed inside the centre. If the students are found with any prohibited item inside the centre, they will not be allowed to continue with the exam.

Q:   Which login credentials are required to access WBJEE admit card?

To download WBJEE admit card, students will have to log in using their application form number and password. The hall ticket will not be available in any other mode. After admit card is released, students will have to print it as it will be needed at exam centre.

What is the WBJEE 2026 reporting time?

Students will have to report to their allotted exam centre during the reporting time prescribed by the authorities in the WBJEE admit card 2026. This is important for the students to finish security checking, frisking and identification before the exam starts and to avoid overcrowding at the venue. By following the WBJEE reporting time 2026, delay in the examination can be avoided. After the gate closes, no student will be allowed to enter the examination venue.

WBJEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Some important WBJEE exam day instructions 2026 should be followed so that students do not face any issues at the examination centre.

  • Students are advised to reach the exam centre atleast an hour and half before the exam starts to complete the security and identification process.
  • WBJEE 2026 admit card and identity proof has to be shown at the exam centre for identification. The ID proof should be original.
  • No electronic, textual or written material will be allowed inside the exam centre.
  • After the exam commences, students will not be allowed inside the exam centre.
  • WBJEE exam shift timings 2026 should be followed strictly.
  • During exam, rough work should be done in the space provided in the question booklet.

WBJEEB has not prescribed an official WBJEE dress code 2026, however, students are advised to follow common dress code rules, so that they do not face any problems at the examination centre. All students are advised to wear comfortable and plain clothes to the exam.

Only appearing for WBJEE is not enough for B.Arch. As per Council of Architecture (CoA) rules, you must also have a valid score in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 (Architecture) alongside your academic and state entrance qualifications.

Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems
