Which IIT will conduct GATE 2027?: The GATE exam also known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering test is one of India’s top engineering entrance exams. GATE is conducted on a national-level and is administered rotationally by IITs on behalf of National Coordinating Board (NCB), Ministry of Education.

What is the role of the Conducting Body in GATE 2027?
The exam body plays an important role during the entire lifecycle of the GATE exam. Here we have mentioned the roles and responsibilities of the conducting body:
- IIT Madras will release the GATE notification & start registration process.
- IIT Madras will share information brochures typically between August and October 2026 and students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill the GATE application form.
- The authorities will generate a GATE admit card and issue it to all the students who successfully submitted their application form. The admit card will be released tentatively in January 2027.
- Administering the online tests for approximately 65 questions totaling 100 marks.
- Publishing the GATE result, response sheets, provisional answer keys (with an objection window), in March 2027 tentatively.

Who can register for the GATE 2027
Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria set by the conducting body will be able to fill the application form. Below we have shared the GATE eligibility criteria which candidates can refer to -
- Students in 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate (UG) degree or those who have already graduated in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts.

No, students can not get direct admission in Cluster Innovation Centre MSc. The college only accepts CUET PG score. Hence, having a GATE scorecard will not come in handy during admissions.
