Common Mistakes to Avoid While Filling GIETEE Application Form

To avoid rejection of GIETEE 2026 application, be cautious of these common mistakes:

  • High server traffic on the official GIET portal near the deadline often causes technical glitches, session timeouts, or failed payment transactions.
  • Using an unprofessional email address or an inactive mobile number can cause you to miss critical alerts like your Application ID or slot booking notifications.
  • Ensure name, parents' names, and date of birth exactly match your Class 10th marksheet. Any discrepancy discovered during physical verification can lead to disqualification.

GIETEE Online Application Miatakes to Avoid

  • Submitting blurry or phone-clicked photos instead of proper scans often triggers a "hold" on the application. The system requires a high-quality, passport-size color photograph.
  • Failing to use the "Preview" feature before clicking "Confirm Submission" is a frequent error. Once submitted, most options cannot be altered at a later stage.

GIETEE Offline Application Miatakes to Avoid

  • Using address of a coaching centre or institution for communication is strictly forbidden and results in immediate rejection.
  • Scribbling, smudging, or wrinkling the physical form can prevent machines from scanning your details properly.
  • Failing to use a black ballpoint pen for signatures or appropriate coding leads to processing errors.
  • Do not staple, pin, or stitch any additional documents to the form. Only the photograph should be pasted in the designated space.
