JEECE 2024 application form was available at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. During the JEECE application form 2024 process, the candidates will have to register, fill out the required details, upload scanned documents and pay the fee. All personal, academic and communication details submitted will have to be valid. The JEECE 2024 application fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Q:   When will JEECE 2024 application form be available?

JEECE 2024 application form process for Round 3 will be open from August 13, 2024. Candidates can access the JEECE application form 2024 online at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. No other mode of application will be accepted. To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to fill out the required details and submit the JEECE application form before the final date.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria of JEECE?
A: 

Before JEECE registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria for the admission process. All candidates should be permanent residents of the state and should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board. For JEECE admission, the candidates will require a valid JEE Main score and should have secured minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in their 12th standard qualifying examination from a recognised board. The candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission.

Q:   Will the JEECE entrance exam be held?
A: 

No. The JEECE entrance exam will not be held. Candidates will be provided admissions into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes based on JEE Main scores. To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the JEECE application form before the final date. Allotment of seats will be done based on the JEE Main scores, preferences and seat availability.

How to fill out the JEECE 2024 application form?

The JEECE 2024 application form will be released online. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill out the application form of JEECE 2024. 

Step 1 - Registration: In the first step, the candidates will visit the official website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and register for JEECE 2024 by providing the basic fields. The login credentials will be generated after the registration process is completed.

Step 2 - Filling of the Application Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill out the application form of JEECE 2024 with the required personal, academic and contact details. All of the information provided has to be valid. Incomplete or invalid applications will not be accepted

Step 3 - Uploaded of Scanned Documents: Candidates will have to upload scanned copies of their passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression and other required documents. The documents should be scanned and uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 4 - Fee Payment: Next, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card).

Step 5 - Submission of Form: Finally, the candidates will have to check the details that they have submitted in the form and submit it.

Q:   Do I need to select exam centres in the JEECE application form?

No. The candidates are not required to select exam centres in the JEECE application form. Since no entrance exam will be held and admissions will be done based on JEE Main scores, there is no requirement to select exam centres in the application form of JEECE. All other required information have to be provided as per the official guidelines.

All candidates will have to fill out and submit the JEECE application form to participate in the counselling and admission process. Q:   What are the official specifications for the documents to be uploaded on the JEECE application form?
A: 

Candidates will be required to upload their scanned passport-size photograph and signature on the JEECE application form. The file size of the recent passport-size photograph, preferebly with a white background, has to be between 20KB to 50KB. The photograph should not be older than 6 months. The signature should be done on a white paper with black/blue ink pen. The file size of the signature should be between 10KB to 20KB. Both documents should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format. The candidates will also be required to upload other documents as applicable i.e., category certificates. The size of the document should not exceed 500KB.

Q:   What is the JEECE application fee?
A: 

During the JEECE application process, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee. For the General/EWS/BC-1/BC-2 category candidates, the JEECE application fee is INR 500. However, for SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories, the application fee is INR 250. Candidates will have to pay the application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of application will be accepted.

No. JEECE application form will not be available offline. The candidates will be able to access the JEECE application form online at the official website. Candidates will have to register and fill out their personal, academic and contact details. The required documents also have to be uploaded as per the specifications.
