JEECE 2024 cutoff will be prepared by the authorities of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board. Through the JEECE cutoff 2024, the candidates will be able to check the minimum marks that is required for higher chances of admission into the participating institutes. While preparing the cutoff of JEECE 2024, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance examination and admission process. It is to be noted that the JEECE 2024 cutoff will differ for every category, course and college. Q:   Will JEECE 2024 be held?

The authorities will not conduct any JEECE for BTech admission. Admissions will be based on JEE Main scores. However, JCECE exam will be held for admission to BTech Agriculture and BTech Dairy Technology.

Q:   Will JEECE cutoff be released online?
A: 

The authorities are not expected to release the JEECE cutoff online. For selection and admission purpose, the authorities will prepare the cutoff of JEECE, however, it may not be available online. If released, the candidates will be able to access the JEECE cutoff online at the official website. The authorities will announce details regarding the JEECE cutoff online. 

Q:   What information will be available through the JEECE merit list?
A: 

JEECE merit list will be released online after the application process is over. Through the state merit list of JEECE, the candidates will be able to check their personal details i.e., name, application number, category and merit details. The candidates who are listed in the JEECE merit list will be able to participate in the counselling and admission process.

Q:   Will JEECE cutoff be different for every category?

Yes. JEECE cutoff will differ as per the category of the candidate and their choice of course and college. Colleges that are in high demand are expected to have higher cutoff than the other colleges. Similarly, General category candidates are expected to have a higher cutoff range than the candidates who belong to the reserved categories. The authorities prepare the JEECE cutoff to select candidates for admission.

Q:   Will the JEECE result be announced?
A: 

Since the authorities will not conduct any entrance examination, there will be no scores to be announced through the JEECE result. Instead the authorities will prepare the JEECE merit list based on the candidate's performance in JEE Main. During admissions, the merit list will be used to select candidates for allotment into the courses offered by the participating colleges of the state.

JEECE 2024 Counselling

JEECE 2024 counselling dates are yet to be announced. Candidates will have to participate in the JEECE counselling 2024 process for admission into the courses offered by the participating institutes. During the JEECE counselling process, the candidates will have to fill out their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference. The selection of colleges and courses needs to be done in the order of preference since it will be considered for allotment. JEECE 2024 seat allotment results will be announced separately for all rounds. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.

Q:   What is the JEECE counselling fee?
A: 

For the General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II category candidates, the JEECE counselling fee is INR 400. However, for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/female candidates of all categories, the counselling fee is INR 250.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria of JEECE?
A: 

Before JEECE registration, candidates are advised to check official eligibility criteria for admission process. All candidates should be permanent residents of state and should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board. For JEECE admission, the candidates will require a valid JEE Main score and should have secured minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in their 12th standard qualifying examination from a recognised board. The candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission.
