Important Points of TJEE Cutoff 2025

  • The exam authorities are expected to release the admission cutoff list after the conclusion of the TJEE 2025.
  • With the help of the TJEE cutoff list, the candidates will get clarity about their chances of admission to the university/institute of their choice.
  • Candidates will be allotted seats according to the rank obtained by them in the exam, preference, category, and availability of seats.
  • If a candidate has secured his place on the cutoff list, then that does not ensure admission until the other requirements are fulfilled.
  • Candidates with higher rank will be given more preference than those with a lower rank.

TJEE 2025 Seat Matrix

The total number of seats, along with other criteria regarding eligibility, shall be ascertained based on the communication as received by the Board from the respective sponsoring departments. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/Wards of Ex-serviceman (EX) candidates will be made as per the Reservation Act of the State Government as notified from time to time. It is to be noted that the admission of a candidate to a College/University/Institution will be subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria regarding cut-off marks and others as specified by the respective departments of the State & Central Governments/Institutions/Council/Body.

Tie-Breaking Method for Determining Merit Position

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in TJEE 2024, the following successive steps will be adopted as per norms:

If a tie occurs, then

Higher Score in P+M

Higher Score in C+B

If a further tie occurs, then

Here, DOB means the Date of Birth of a candidate. The candidate who is senior in age will be given the preference in merit position as per norms.
