Staff Selection Commission Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2025 ( SSC MTS )
The Staff Selection Commission has increased the number of vacancies in the SSC MTS & Havaldar exam. The Commission released a revised SSC MTS 2025 vacancy list on its portal - ssc.gov.in. The Commission increased the vacancies under each post category. It is a huge increase from 5,464 to 7,948. The Commission is expected to release the SSC MTS exam dates for the CBT (Tier 1) exam. This increase will have a positive impact on the exam process and the SSC MTS cutoff will decrease a bit.
The number of vacancies notified in the notification were tentative because the Commission can increase the number of vacancies before the final result. How to Check SSC MTS Vacancies 2025?
Candidates can check the vacancies for SSC MTS exam in the manner given below:

SSC MTS 2022 Vacancies
SSC MTS vacancies were reduced from 11,788 to 11,784. Earlier, the Staff Selection Commission revised the SSC MTS vacancies 2022 from 12,523 to 11,788. The Commission reduced the number of vacancies under the SSC MTS 18-25 age group and increased the SSC MTS 18-27 age group. The Commission is expected to release the SSC MTS result 2022 soon because the final number of vacancies has been released.

SSC MTS 2021 Vacancies
SSC MTS Paper-I was conducted from July 5 to 21, 2022, as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE). SSC MTS 2021 vacancies were released on April 27, 2022. The tentative vacancies for the SSC MTS posts were 3,698. The tentative number of vacancies for the post of Hawaldar was 3,603. So the total number of vacancies in the SSC MTS 2022 exam was 7,301. The Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS exam pattern altogether. The Commission removed the Paper 2 (descriptive) from the selection process. Now there are only two stages in the SSC MTS exam. These are mentioned below:

- PET/PST for Havaldar Posts
The Document Verification process will be carried out by the indenting user department. In addition to above, the Commission changed the SSC MTS Paper 1 exam pattern and removed negative marking from the Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving section.

Yes, the Staff Selection Commission has increased the SSC MTS & Havaldar Vacancies through a public notice released at ssc.gov.in. The Commission revised the vancies and increased them to 7,948 from 5,464.
