If a candidate is scoring 60 to 65 marks, they can aim for Tier 2 National Law University. The CLAT Exam is tough, and getting admission to a top-tier NLU requires marks above 90. However, with low marks too, aspirants to NLU, but not necessarily with a good NIRF Ranking.
The rank as per score varies from year to year. But most of the top-tier National Law Universities close their general category admission much before this rank. The CLAT Cutoff depends on various factors like exam difficulty level of the exam, number of applicants, seat matrix, NLU preferences etc. The CLAT Exam is conducted for admission to LLB and LLM courses in 25 NLUs. Is 65 a Good Score in CLAT 2027?
A score of 65 marks is low, and the student's rank will be between AIR 3055 and AIR 4455. Now, many candidates must be thinking why it is considered a borderline score. Candidates applying under the SC/ ST category will easily get admission to tier 2 NLUs and other law colleges accepting CLAT scores with these marks. It is unlikely that OBC/ EWS or general category candidates will get admission with these marks.
