Six Tips to Ensure Error-Free CAT 2025 Form Submission

Take a look at a few tips to ensure error free CAT 2025 registration and submission of the application form:

1. Submit the CAT 2025 form before the last date: Since over 3 lakh candidates apply for CAT exam every year, the wise thing to do is to not wait until the last day to submit the form. You might face server related problems which could delay CAT 2025 registration. There is no provision of submitting the CAT 2025 form offline so if you are unable to submit it online on the last day, you won't be able to appear in CAT 2025. Also, the earlier you submit the form, the better chances of test centre allotment in preferred city.

2. Use valid email ID and mobile phone number for registration: During CAT 2025 registration, make sure you use an email ID and phone number that you are using currently because the OTP for validating CAT registration, user ID and password, and the call letter from the IIMs will be sent to the contact details you share. You will receive all CAT related communication including, notification about CAT 2025 admit cards and CAT 2025 results on the same phone number and email ID. Candidates must note that, there is no provision of changing the contact details once the registration is done.

3. Review CAT 2025 application form before submitting: Cross checking and verifying every detail furnished on the CAT 2025 application form is very important as every information must be valid and same as mentioned on the documents (birth certificate, marksheets, etc.) because these information will be verified by the institutes at the time of MBA admission. Also, make sure you upload relevant certificates in correct format (is applicable). All the details and certificates will be verified for authenticity and in case there is a discrepancy, the CAT 2025 form can be cancelled.

Since the CAT application forms cannot be edited after submission, review the inputs before hitting the 'submit' button. Once the application form is submitted, you will have only two options:

  • Wait for the CAT form correction window to open in which you can edit only a few fields like percentage of marks scored, work experience, and programmes selected

OR

  • Fill a new CAT 2025 form using a new phone number and a new email ID

4. Choose your CAT test city wisely: Although, you will be allowed to choose up to six options as your preferred test city for CAT 2025; the actual allotment is subject to availability of seats in that particular centre and city. Also, you will not be allowed to choose the CAT 2025 exam slot (morning, forenoon or afternoon) by yourself. Thus, choose the CAT cities carefully. Your choice of test cities must be the ones which you can visit and ensure a stay, easily on the exam day.

5. Fee submission: CAT 2025 application process will be completed only after successful submission of the application fee. The fee can be paid through debit/credit cards or net-banking. Use a functional debit/credit card, i.e. ensure that it has not crossed the expiry date. Enter all the details for money transaction carefully. Don’t forget to save the acknowledgement/receipt generated on the payment of fees.

6. Upload passport size photo and scanned signature: Your CAT 2025 application submission will be incomplete without uploading of a passport size photo and scanned signature. While filling up the CAT 2025 application form, you will be required to upload a scanned copy of your recent passport sized photo of 1200 pixels x 1200 pixels. The photo should be in only JPEG or JPG format. The file size should be not more than 80 KB. The signature should be clear and on white background and within dimension of 80mm X 35mm. The image should be with a minimum resolution of 150px/inch. If the dimension, format or the size of the photo or signature is wrong, the interface will not accept your CAT 2025 application form.

Yes, COEP, Pune does accept CAT score to admit candidates for MBA admissions. During CAP rounds, if candidates have a valid score in CAT, they will be chosen based on those scores only. Thus, such candidates are not required to reappear for MAH-CET.
