PIM MAT 2026 syllabus outlines the section-wise topics that candidates need to cover for the exam. PIM MAT 2026 syllabus is spread over five subjects, namely Verbal Ability, Current Affairs, Data Interpretation, Business Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning. PIM MAT question paper will comprise 200 questions based on PIM MAT syllabus. The examination authority, R.A. Podar School of Management, does not release the PIM MAT Syllabus. For each right answer, the candidate will be awarded one mark, and for three wrong answers, one mark will be deducted. Candidates can check the detailed PIM MAT syllabus below.

Q:   What is the syllabus of PIM-MAT?

University of Rajasthan does not prescribe the exact syllabus for PIM-MAT. However, candidates are suggested to be updated on Current Affairs including Economics, Sociological trends, Business, Global Economic Outlook, and Nation Economic Outlook besides the prescribed sections of the PIM-MAT exam- Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, Logic, and Business Mathematics.
Q:   What is PIM-MAT exam pattern?
A: 

PIM-MAT 2026 exam pattern has been prescribed by the authorities. As per the exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 objective type questions. The question paper will be divided across five sections- Logic, Verbal Ability, Current Affairs Data Interpretation and Business Mathematics. Candidates will be provided with OMR sheets to mark the correct option. The exam will be conducted for a duration of two hours to attend all five sections of PIM-MAT.

Yes, PIM MAT exam consists of negative marking. As per the PIM MAT marking scheme there will be negative marking for any wrong answers, and 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. Check the details below:

The PIM MAT exam is conducted offline, and candidates must fill the PIM MAT 2026 application form online. The exam will be held in offline mode, and registered candidates can know their alloted exam centre and date of examination when PIM MAT admit card is issued. The PIM MAT 2026 admit card will be tentatively in first week of June.

Candidates must report at the alloted PIM MAT exam centre one hour prior to the given time of examination. Candidates must follow the exam day guidelines to appear for the PIM MAT 2026 exam. The exam will be held in second week of June.

Q:   Is any other entrance scores accepted for admission at R.A Podar Institute of Management?

No, candidates with any other national/state management entrance test score will not be considered for shortlisting. Candidates will be required to appear for PIM MAT (R.A Podar Institute of Management-Management Aptitude Test ). They cannot use their other management entrance test scores as an alternative to PIM MAT for the admission process. This means that candidates will have to appear for PIM MAT that meets the admission criteria for the MBA programme at R.A Podar Institute of Management. 

PIM MAT is expected to held in second week of June 2026. The exam is conducted in computer based mode. Candidates will be required to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of examination.

PIM-MAT 2026 exam will be held tentatively in second week of June 2026. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the exam. The exam will be held in offline mode across six exam cities. While filling the PIM-MAT 2026 application form, candidates will be able to list the preferred exam cities as per the priority. Candidates must report at the allotted exam centre on the day of the examination.

PIM MAT 2026 will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes/ 2 hours, and each question carries 1 mark. 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The medium of the exam is English, and it is an offline test.
