Will MCC revise NEET PG 2021 cut off for providing admission to more number of candidates or not? As NEET PG 2021 mop up round counselling is going on, students are hoping authority to revise cut off to accomodate more number of students.

NBE has released revised cut off for NEET PG 2021. The cut off has been reduced by 15 percentile for each category. NBE will also release revised result based on new cut off. Earlier doctors were demanding the authority to decrease the cutoff so that maximum candidates get seats and they don’t need to wait for the next academic session to pursue PG courses. The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) also requested the National Medical Association to lower the NEET PG cut off amid 6,500 seats remaining vacant for admission in the mop-up round. Cut off is the last rank at which admission is provided in that particular category to candidates. Last year also NEET PG cut off was revised to fill seats in the mop-up round counselling. NEET PG 2021 Mop-up Round Cut off

Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) has also written to Union Health Minister, urging him to consider the request to decrease the cut off for mop-up round NEET PG 2021 counselling. FORDA has contended that almost every year cutoff is revised to accommodate maximum candidates in All India Quota seats for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses. The association said as the counselling has already delayed this year due to COVID-19, if mop-up cut off will not be revised, many of the candidates may not get admission which will lead to reduce workforce in healthcare.
