The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted NEET (UG) 2018 exam on May 6. Conducted in offline mode, the exam is a gateway for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses offered by government and private medical colleges in India. The exam will also be used for admissions to AYUSH courses in India. NEET UG in 2018 was held at 2,000 exam centres across 136 cities in India.

NEET exam 2018 had 12 different sets of question papers - AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, GG, HH, PP, QQ, RR, SS, WW, XX, YY and ZZ. Each set comprised 180 questions worth 720 marks from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). Each question was of 4 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for each wrong answer.  This year, the exam was held in 11 languages: English, Hindi, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil and Telugu.
