The Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked students to collect their DigiLocker Security PIN, i.e., Access Code for their DigiLocker accounts, to check and download CBSE Results 2025 Marksheet, School Passing Certificate, and Migration Certificate. CBSE Result 2025 Class 10, 12 to be out through the official website, i.e. results.cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in.

The Board has released user manual explaining steps for schools to download DigiLocker Security PINs for students. It has also explained "Steps to download CBSE Result 2025 Class 10, 12" for students. Considering such important notice release by the Board, the question arises, will CBSE 10th 12th Result 2025 be released on May 6, 2025?

The Board, through its latest notice, informed that, “CBSE 10th Result 2025 and CBSE 12th Result 2025 are releasing soon. It also stated that CBSE Board Result 2025 “is under preparation”. CBSE Result 2025 Class 10, 12 to be out through the official website, i.e. results.cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. 

“The student wise Access Code file is being made available to Schools in their Digilocker accounts from where schools can download and disseminate Access Code to individual students,” the notice added.

With the release of the CBSE 10th Result 2025 and CBSE 12th Result 2025, students will be able to access their CBSE digital marksheets through DigiLocker. To enable this, schools must download and share the DigiLocker security PINs with students. Here's how schools can access the DigiLocker PINs for the upcoming CBSE Result 2025:

Steps for Schools to Download DigiLocker PINs for CBSE Board Result 2025:

1. Visit the official DigiLocker portal for CBSE: digitallocker.gov.in
2. Log in using the CBSE LOC (List of Candidates) credentials and choose the option "Login as School"
3. Click on the ‘Download PIN File’ option
4. Select the relevant class — CBSE Class 10 or Class 12
5. Once the PIN file is downloaded, schools should securely share individual PINs with each student to ensure privacy and data security

CBSE Result 2025: How Students Can Download CBSE 10th, 12th Marksheet 2025 via DigiLocker

Students awaiting the CBSE Class 10 Result 2025 or CBSE Class 12 Result 2025 can access their digital marksheets and certificates through DigiLocker, a secure digital document storage platform linked to Aadhaar. CBSE sends DigiLocker login credentials via SMS to the student’s registered mobile number.

Steps to Access CBSE Result 2025 Digital Marksheet on DigiLocker:

1. Visit digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse
2. Select your class: Class 10 or Class 12
3. Enter your school code, roll number, and the 6-digit security PIN provided by your school
4. After verifying your details, log in to the DigiLocker app or website using your Username and Password
5. Go to the ‘Profile’ section and sync your Aadhaar number if not already linked
6. Click on ‘Pull Partner Documents’ from the sidebar
7. In the dropdown menus:
   • Select ‘Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi’
   • Choose document type: Marksheet (HSC/SSC), Migration Certificate, or Passing Certificate
8. Enter your year of passing and roll number
9. Click on ‘Get Document’ to download your CBSE Result 2025 marksheet or certificate
10. To keep the document secure, click on ‘Save to Locker’

Important Note on DigiLocker PIN for CBSE Result 2025

The 6-digit DigiLocker PIN is mandatory to access your CBSE 2025 digital marksheet. This new security measure has been introduced to enhance privacy and ensure that only authorized students can access their academic records. If you have not received your PIN, contact your school immediately.

CBSE Result 2025: Why CBSE DigiLocker Security PIN is Necessary?

“You are aware that from past several years, CBSE in technical collaboration with NeGD has been opening Digilocker accounts for Class X and XII students every year in advance to provide digital academic documents through CBSE's digital academic repository, "Parinam Manjusha," immediately after the declaration of result.  In order to further strengthen security & privacy of students' data. CBSE introduced six digit Access Code based activation for students' Digilocker accounts. After activation of Digilocker accounts. students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the 'Issued Documents' section,” the notice states.
