CCMT 2025 Round 1 Last Date TODAY for Seat Acceptance Fee, Documents & Counselling Choices

The CCMT 2025 Round 1 closes TODAY: The Centralised Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des. Admissions (CCMT) 2025 has reached a key deadline today (June 14, 5:30 pm). All candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 1 must complete several important steps by the end of the day to confirm their admission process. According to the official schedule, June 14, 2025, is the last date to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF), upload required documents online, and submit their willingness choice – Freeze, Float, or Slide. Candidates who wish to withdraw from the counselling process must also complete the withdrawal procedure today.

Candidates must perform the following activities today -
Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)
- Amount: ₹30,000 (for all candidates)
- Mode: Online through the CCMT portal
Upload Necessary Documents Online
- Candidates must upload all required documents for verification on the portal.
- These include GATE scorecard, qualifying degree certificate/marksheet, category certificate (if applicable), etc.
Submit Willingness Option
- Freeze: Satisfied with allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds.
- Float: Will accept the current seat but want to be considered for higher preferences in future rounds.
- Slide: Will accept the current institute but want a better course in the same institute
Withdrawal Option
Those who no longer wish to participate in CCMT 2025 must opt for withdrawal today.
NOTE: Candidates will be able to download the provisional allotment letter, upload the documents, and submit the willingness only after the payment of acceptance fee.
What Happens Next?
After today, the document verification process by Reporting Centres (RCs) will continue until June 17, 2025. Only candidates who complete today’s steps will be eligible for further rounds of seat allotment. Candidates are advised to visit the official CCMT 2025 website and complete all formalities before the deadline to avoid cancellation of their allotment.

- The GATE opening rank determines the highest rank of the candidates required to get admission to a particular programme and category during the counselling.
- On the other hand, the GATE closing rank is determined as the lowest rank in GATE for the candidate to be admitted to a specific programme and category during the counselling.

There are two types of GATE counselling that offer admission to M.Tech courses and programmes -
- COAP - it is a portal through which that offers M.Tech admission at IITs and IISc Bangalore
- CCMT - is a portal through which candidates have to register for M.Tech admission at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
