GATE 2025 Registration Without Late Fees End Tomorrow: Apply Now

IIT Roorkee will close the GATE 2025 application form (with regular fees) tomorrow (October 3, 2024). The date was extended due to several challenges faced by the candidates. Check the GATE registration process, fees, and instructions below -

GATE Application Form Last Date

GATE 2025 Application Last Date: The GATE 2025 registration window will close on October 3, 2024 (11:59 pm) without a late fee charge. Candidates who want to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) must apply before the due date to avoid late fees. The last date to submit the GATE 2025 online form with a late fee charge is October 7, 2024

The last date for GATE registration with regular fees was supposed to be September 26, 2024. Still, due to several requests from applicants, IIT Roorkee extended the last date for submitting the GATE 2025 application form. Interested candidates can visit the GOAPS portal—gate2025.iitr.ac. to enrol for the exam. GATE 2025 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025

GATE 2025 Application Process

Candidates can register for GATE 2025 online only. The application process is simple: registration, filling out the details, uploading documents, payment of application fees, and submitting the form. You need to keep the following information ready while filling out the application form -

  • Your personal details, including name, mobile number, e-mail ID, date of birth, and parents/guardians' mobile number.
  • Communication details with the correct PIN Code 
  • Eligibility degree details
  • College name and address with PIN Code
  • Choice of GATE test papers (Two-Paper Combination). Candidates must select two papers. Paper I must be primary, and Paper II must be secondary. Candidates are advised to choose the papers wisely. 
  • Choice of GATE exam cities. Candidates must opt for at least three test centres from the same zone. 
  • A recent passport-size photograph scanned, fulfilling all the requirements prescribed by the GATE authorities.
  • A scanned candidate’s signature confirms all the requirements prescribed by the GATE authorities. 
  • A scanned copy of valid photo ID proof.

  • SC/ST certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
  • PwD certificate (if applicable) in PDF format
  • Dyslexia certificate (if applicable) in PDF format
  • netbanking/UPI/credit/debit card details

GATE 2025 Application Fees

The application fee for GATE 2025 is different for general and reserved/female category candidates. Here are the fee details of the application form for various category sections, along with the GATE 2025 late fee charges -

Candidates must provide correct information while filling out the application form. Any discrepancy found can lead to the rejection of the application form. However, the GATE authorities will activate the GATE 2025 application form correction link on November 6, 2024, to make specific changes to the GATE 2025 application form.

The GATE 2025 exam is the most prestigious entrance test that allows candidates to pursue higher degree programs, such as M.Tech and PhD or apply for PSU jobs.

Q:   Can I join IISc without JEE Main?

A:

IISC Bangalore accepts JEE Main score for BTech admission 2024. The university has different admission criteria as per course requirement. IISc Bangalore offers a four-year BTech in Mathematics and Computing divided into eight semesters. The course is divided into two parts, i.e., Core Courses and Soft Core Courses.

Candidates applying to a MSc course in IIT Delhi must fulfil the required eligibility criteria. Thus, aspirant must hold a valid bachelor's degree in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10. Q:   Who is eligible for M.Tech at NIT Trichy?

A:

 To get admission to M.Tech at NIT Trichy, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Aspirants need to be graduated with minimum 60% aggregate with BE/BTech from a recognised University. Admission is conducted based a valid GATE score. The applicant further must submit the documents at the time of form filling and admission procedure as a proof of eligibility.
