GATE COAP Counselling 2025: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) start the GATE COAP 2025 counselling registration for round 1 from May 17. Candidates who have qualified GATE in 2025, 2024, or 2023 and wish to apply for MTech admission or PSU jobs can complete COAP counselling 2025 registration online at the official website: gate.iisc.ac.in. In GATE COAP 2025 Round 1 counselling, they can view admission or job offers from participating institutes and PSUs, and make informed decisions. They can choose to "Accept and Freeze," "Retain and Wait," or "Reject" an offer.
In the subsequent rounds of GATE COAP 2025 counselling, candidates can make decisions based on the new offers they receive. However, the “Retain and Wait” option can be selected no more than twice for the same offer. The COAP platform is designed to ensure a fair and transparent allocation of all MTech seats in participating institutes and job offers in PSUs.
Who Can Register for GATE COAP 2025 Counselling?
Before registering for COAP 2025, candidates must carefully go through the eligibility criteria. Applications from ineligible candidates will be rejected. To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:
- The candidate must be an Indian national.
- A valid GATE score from the years 2025, 2024, or 2023 is required.
- If a candidate holds multiple valid GATE scorecards, the one with the better score or rank must be submitted.
- Candidates must also meet the specific eligibility criteria of each participating institute they are applying.
