RRB Group D Apply Online 2026: Check Revised Application Dates

In RRB Group D registration form, candidates are required to enter basic details. The hard copy of the application form is not sent to candidates by post. Only online applications are accepted for the exam.  Fee is paid online.

RRB Group D application form needs to be submitted online only. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the application form. RRB Group D application form comprises details such as registration, uploading the scanned photograph and signature, selection of RRBs, etc. 

The reasons for rejection of RRB Group D application form are given below: Application forms might be rejected due to invalid photos Signature in capital/block letters Not satisfying the prescribed qualification for the post Over-aged or under-aged or Date of Birth wrongly filled Multiple applications to different Railway zones or to the same Railway zone. In such case, all applications will be rejected and such candidates will be debarred from future RRB/RRC exams Candidate's name figuring in the debarred list of any RRB / RRC Incomplete or incorrectly filled application or any other irregularities which are observed and considered as invalid by RRB.

Yes, candidates can change their states in the RRB Group D exam. This can be done by first choosing 'Application Modification' which is available in the home page of the registration portal. After candidates have chosen the preferred state, they need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 100 for modifying the application. Once candidates have successfully paid the application fee they can make the necessary changes and then submit it. Please note that candidates will not be able to edit your registration number, email id, mobile number, and your zone. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250.

To modify the details related to railway, email, and mobile number can be done by paying the modification fee of INR 100. The modification fee is applicable to all candidates including fee concession categories and this is not refundable. In the case candidates are modifying their communities from SC/ST to UR or OBC, they need to pay the difference in examination fee i.e. INR 250 in addition to the modification fee. In case candidates are switching from Ex.SM/PwBD/Female/Transgender to UR/OBC (NCL)/Non Ex.SM/Non PwBD/Male etc., they need to pay the difference in examination fee i.e. INR 250 in addition to the modification fee. The modification can be done for a maximum of two times only.

Candidates are allowed to modify all details except the chosen railway, email ID, and mobile number even after the submission of RRB Group D application form by paying the modification fee. Correction in data other than the railway, email and mobile number can be done by paying the modification fee of INR 100. RRB Group D application form 2026 will be released on January 31. Earlier, it was planned to be released on January 21. The last date to fill the application form is March 2. Applications are accepted online for the exam.

RRB Group D 2026 application form filling window will close on March 2. Earlier, it was to get over on February 20. However, the dates were revised by the examination authority.

Candidates who appear in the CBT exam are refunded their application fees. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. To get the refund of application fee, candidates need to update their bank accounts. While, filling the application form candidates need to provide the details of their bank accounts inorder to get the fee refund.

RRB Group D application status can be checked by using user ID and password. The application status displays whether their applications are accepted or rejected for the recruitment exam.

Candidates are required to submit only one RRB Group D application form to the selected railway. They can apply for only one railway. Application to more than one railway is rejected. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee can be submitted both online and offline. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of the application form.

The link to modify the photograph and signature is activated after completion of application process. RRB Group D application form is released online. The details should be uploaded correctly or else it will be rejected.

 

 

 

RRB NTPC application form can be filled online only. Candidates are required to submit only one form. The first process towards filling the application form is registration. The same may be rejected if the details are not right.
