The PU CET (UG) 2026 application form has reopened till April 22, 2026. Originally, the last date of registration was December 14, 2025, which has been extended. PU CET (UG) important dates for all the events have been revised. The PU CET (UG) 2026 application form started on November 14, 2025.  And the last date for the online registration is April 22, 2026.

The last date for PU CET (UG) application fee payment will be April 24, 2025 . Students should proceed with the next step to upload a passport-sized photograph, signature, and any other required information and then save and confirm. The last date for uploading the photograph, signature with rest of the information in the form will be April 27, 2026.

Then, students should check the website to download their PU CET (UG) admit card, which will be released on May 5, 2026.

The PU CET (UG) exam centres 2026 are: Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Muktsar, and Hoshiarpur.

Students must prepare for their exam as the PU CET (UG) 2026 entrance exam will be conducted on May 10, 2025. Then the PU CET (UG) 2026 results will be declared in last week of May 2026, tentatively. 

After the announcement of the results, the qualified students will be eligible to attend the PU CET (UG) counselling process 2026. The counselling process is expected to start in June 2026.

What is PU CET (UG)?

PU CET (UG) is conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh to offer candidates admission in BSc (Hons) and pharmacy courses in the varsity. The PU CET (UG) is a university-level entrance exam that is conducted once a year. The entrance exam is held in offline mode (pen & paper test) and aspirants need to meet the eligibility criteria in order to appear for the entrance exam and apply for admission. For the BSc (Hons.) under the framework of Hons. School System (4 Years Programme as per NEP-2020) and BPharmacy admissions, the final merit will be prepared based on merit consisting of three components

  • CET merit with weightage 75%
  • 10+2 or its equivalent examination merit with weightage 25%
  • over and above weightage of NCC, NSS, etc.

 PU CET (UG) 2026 results will be announced in the last week of May, 2026. Students are advised to work keep checking the website regularly for timely updates. As the PU CET (UG) important dates for all events has been revised.

Q:   What to do after PU CET (UG) 2026 result announcement?
A: 

After the completion of the PU CET (UG) 2026 result, only the qualified students will be eligible to attend the counselling process for the seat allotment.

Students need to log into the accounts on the website to fill out the admission form, select the preferred course/college, then wait for the seat allotment, followed by reporting to college with the rank card, category certificates, marksheets and photos with the PU CET (UG) fee proof.

Q:   Who all are ineligible to appear in PU CET (UG) examination?
A: 

Here we will discuss who all are ineligible to appear in PU CET (UG) 2026 examination:

  • The candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in the PU CET (UG) Entrance Test, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, included in the booklet of recognised exams, has also been deleted from the Booklet. 
  • The candidates having compartment in 10+2 examination held in March-2023 will not be eligible for admission in the course. The candidates who do not appear in PU CET (UG) Entrance Test or who do not qualify PU CET (UG) Entrance Test shall not be considered for the admission.
Q:   When will the PU CET (UG) provisional merit list be published?
A: 

For PU CET (UG) 2026 provisional merit list will publish tentatively in the last week of March. Students are advised to check the website for the updates.

Q:   What are the documents required for PU CET (UG) physical counselling?
A: 

Documents required at the time of PU CET (UG) 2026 counseling:
(i) Physical Counseling Form (2 copies) to be downloaded from your login account.
(ii) Admission Form (2 copies) to be downloaded from your login account.
(iii)Admissions Fee (to be paid online only on Payment website through Net-Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI on the spot after getting admission). Candidates are required to create their account  for making online payment. Account on payonline.puchd.ac.in must be in the name of Candidate only.
(iv) Photograph
(v) Original documents and one copy of all documents are required on the spot.
