Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research Common Entrance Test 2024 ( MCAER CET )
MCAER PG CET 2025 Counselling started in the first week of October 2025. Only the qualified students could participate in the counselling process after the release of the MACER PG CET Counselling Process dates.
This exam is conducted once a year. To stay updated on MACER PG CET 2025, including counselling, important dates, syllabus, eligibility, admit cards, results, and more, candidates must keep a check on this Shiksha page for the latest information.
Candidates who wish to study MTech, MF SC, and MSc courses and appear for this year's MACER PG Exam, have their results published on the official website to get admission at various MCAER-accepting colleges and State Agriculture Universities (SAUs).
The MACER PG CET Exam is a state-level Test which is conducted for students who want to pursue post-graduate courses in Allied Science and Agriculture at State Agriculture Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra.

MCAER PG CET Counselling: Registration Process
The counselling process of MCAER PG CET was conducted in online mode on the basis of a provisional merit list. The merit list was prepared on the basis of 70 per cent weightage to scores obtained by the candidates in CET and 30 per cent weightage for CGPA scores.
- In order to take part in the counselling round, aspirants need to submit their applications online on the official website of CET.
- After this, a provisional seat allotment list will be displayed and, candidates were allotted seats as per the preferences marked by them in the counselling form.
- To confirm seats, candidates would need to get their academic and other documents pertaining to eligibility verified. After this, proceed to pay the admission fee of their allotted colleges.
- There will be at least three rounds of MCAER PG CET counselling including an institute-level round.
- After two rounds of the MCAER CET counselling process were over, the authorities conduct an additional Sports admission round.

Documents required for MCAER PG CET Counselling
Candidates need to carry the below documents in original as well as photocopies of the same at the time of their counselling for MCAER admission:
- Domicile Certificate/School Leaving Certificate containing place of birth from Maharashtra/Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority from Maharashtra.
- Domicile certificate / Residential Certificate / Community, Nativity and Date of birth certificate from Other State Candidate.
- Mark sheet / Grade Card of the qualifying examination.
- College/ Institute Leaving/ Transfer Certificate (last attended)/ Bonafide certificate of the college where admission has already been taken.
- Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority designated in the State.
- Caste Validity Certificate or receipt of submission to Scheduled Tribe Caste Scrutiny committee with the undertaking as mentioned in Appendix ‘C’ for Scheduled Tribe Candidates.
- ‘No objection Certificate’ of the current academic year from the employer if employed.
- Self-Declaration letter in the prescribed format confirming the authenticity of the uploaded original copies.
