GBPUAT Counselling 2025: Cutoff, Merit List, Result, Exam Date, & Other Details

The GBPUAT Exam is responsible for conducting the Pantnagar University Entrance Exam for those students who want to study undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different science-related streams like Agriculture, 

Science and other streams. Students should know that they need to carry their admit card when they appear for this exam. The exam will be conducted in offline mode, and the students will get 3 hours to complete their exam.

The Second Round of GBPUAT Counselling ended, and the campus reporting date for candidates to go through the document verification process in-person at the College of Agriculture, Pantnagar was between August 20 and 21, 2025. The GBPUAT 2025 Counselling process Round 1 started on July 21, 2025, for UG, PG and DVPLE. The deadline to complete the choice filling process was over on July 25, 2025.

The counselling process is conducted only for the selected candidates who qualified for the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT 2025 Exam). The GBPUAT Counselling is conducted in multiple rounds for candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses at some of the most prestigious institutes in Pantnagar.

GBPUAT 2025 result was out on June 12, 2025. The result was announced for PG, UG, and PhD courses. To check the scorecard, visit the official portal by entering the programme name and roll number. To use the result printout during the admission process, download the hard copy and also save a PDF file. 

The Pantnagar Admit Card is an important document, and it is compulsory to bring the admit card on the day of the GBPUAT exam. If a student fails to bring their hall ticket, they can not enter the exam centre. Students who wish to study UG, PG, MCA and DVPLE courses need to visit the official portal to download the GBPUAT Hall Ticket. 

The entrance is held for the following courses offered at GBPUAT:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture (Hons.)
• BSc (Hons) in Community Science
• Bachelor of Fisheries Science 
• BSc Food Technology
• Masters of Computer Applications
• Masters in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

The university also offers admissions to the following courses on the basis of merit scores obtained by the candidates in the national-level entrance exam: 

• Master of Technology (MTech) - On the basis of GATE scores
• Bachelor of Engineering and Technology (BE/ BTech) - On the basis of JEE Main scores
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) - On the basis of CAT and CMAT scores
