Worth a shot if you are good at grasping opportunities.
Placements: The placements are decent if you know how to grab opportunities. The college provides plenty of chances and exposure. You just need to ensure that you are capable enough to hold onto them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice. You can explore the whole campus, and it is very beautiful at times. As for the hostels, the food might disappoint you a little bit, but the best memories are made there. They have decent rooms. ACs and Wi-Fi are available across classrooms and the library. The medical facilities are great. Sports and games can be done through different clubs.
Faculty: Faculty members can be a little tricky to handle. But as for the courses and exams, it is easy to score and maintain a good GPA with minimal effort. Curriculum is relevant and easy to understand. To become industry-ready, though, you need to go out and gain experience through internships or projects. Faculty members are good and can be contacted for projects or research opportunities.
Other: There are no such great fests. Milan is a good one, though. If the artists called are worth it, then it is a must-visit. Scholarships can be secured if you have a good GPA. The campus surroundings are good for spending your time in the evening. You can also join extracurricular activities of your choice through various clubs.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because their way of teaching is very bad.
Placements: Students from electronics and communication are placed in well-known companies by developing skills in SRM. The placement opportunities are also good and can be better in the upcoming years. The maximum number of campus opportunities is more. The offline parameters should be impactful and a more restful way for students to go into their favourite companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classrooms is okay, but it should be improved. It should concentrate more on labs and old classrooms to make us feel better.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is good. Semester exams are average, and we can score above 9 percent with more hard work. The support from teachers is good.
Other: Fests of the campus are good and can be further developed.

Greatly satisfied with the faculty and placements.
Placements: Almost 60 to 70 percent of the students are placed in the course with the highest package, 32 LPA, and the average package is around 6 LPA, and the lowest package is noted to be 3 LPA, but it varies every year. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, Microsoft, IBM, Apple, and so on visited the campus to hire the students. Almost every student receives an internship offer at the end of the course.
Infrastructure: We have a good infrastructure of both academic and hostel blocks near the airport and railway station, both 30 km from the campus. They provide a 24/7 Wi-Fi facility to the students. All labs and the library are well-maintained with air conditioning. They provide 24/7 ambulance service to the students for emergency purposes.
Faculty: We have very knowledgeable and very helpful faculty on campus. They are very friendly with the students. Curriculum is different, not like other colleges, we ourselves make a timetable with respected course. Regarding the difficulty of exams, it all depends on the slots of the paper, but overall, it lies between average and good.

Great campus life, Bad ROI.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is very vague as a lot of students just opt out of placement because of their CGPA and they are not considered for placement. If you are an average student you can get around 6 to 7 LPA if you maintain your CGPA. Companies like Wipro and L&T are the top recruiters. Internship you have to secure at your college gives you almost zero support there.
Infrastructure: Labs and Classrooms are actually pretty good if you opt for CSE as the new building TP 2 is highly advanced. Library is also pretty good with a nighttime study facility. Hostels are expensive and the hostel staff is pretty annoying. You have an appointment at 9 o clock so beware of that.
Faculty: Teachers try but to be honest, for our course they are bad actually pretty bad. The curriculum is good and you can score decent marks if you just prepare from the resources, as you will find a lot of resources to help you. Semester exams are actually pretty easy but the thing is you have exams throughout the year, so it is pretty exhausting. You have 3 cycle tests for each subject every semester. Then there is the final semester exam which is of only 40 marks. The remaining 60 marks are on internal and cycle tests.
Other: Too much crowd in CSE thats why I chose Electronics and Communication. To be honest this course is very tough but you can manage if you focus on the core subjects. There are a lot of events but if you are coming from North India, you will be a little disappointed as the fests are pretty south dominated. There are a lot of hackathons happening all throughout the year.

Got a good college life.
Placements: From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HUL, HCL, and so on. I got an offer in 2 companies, Infosys and Base Automation Technologies. The highest package is 51 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA to 5 LPA. 90 percent of students got placed. Plans after getting the placements are to work.
Infrastructure: The main thing I would like to mention here is the library, over 4 Lacs books are placed in the library, including IAS, IFS, IPS, Central, and State government aspirants can use it. The gym is overall good. Campus timing is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, depending on the day of the order and the departments. Security is very strict here, so students can't do any unnecessary activities inside the campus.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is overall good. The relationship between the students and faculty members is very good. My best faculty is Dr. Kirigalan. He is a good professor, and he is always open to helping students after college hours, too. The course is well structured. We can expect 7 to 8 subjects for each semester, and everything is easy to understand.
Other: Milan and Aarush are the famous events in our college. Around 20 to 30 festivals are conducted here because all the state students are studying, which is the main reason. The facilities and technology provisions in the classrooms are Projectors, LED displays like smart televisions, AC, and so on.

Good but can be made better.
Placements: More than 70% of the students are said to be placed in ECE department. As of my knowledge, the highest package is 54 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is said to be 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Deloitte, Google, Microsoft, Zoho, etc. They work as electronics engineer.
Infrastructure: There are many labs, clubs, and library on the campus. The whole campus has AC classrooms and buses. The mess in hostel is said to be pretty good and they serve a variety of dishes both North and South dishes, There are also many sports and NCC/ NSS/yoga activities always going on actively.
Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly with everyone. The course curriculum is also well maintained according to the time schedule. Semester exams are quite easy if we learn for the class tests during the semester. The pass percentage is above 85%.
Other: One bad thing about the college is the crowd. There is a lot of student intake and they don't maintain the strength of students which they have mentioned in the curriculum. So there are a lot of people in the college and mainly at the college events.

It is a good college, but I am not fully satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placement rate is low for the college, especially for the last 2 years. The average package has dropped to somewhere around 5 Lacs CTC. Although there are some good offers like 26 LPA. The lowest will be very low near 3 LPA. My class strength was 64 and out of them, 14 got placed and around 20 got accepted for internship. For my ECE department, one of the best offers was from L&T and Snapdragon.
Infrastructure: For the ECE department, we have 4 floors dedicated to labs which also include the Mac lab. The quality of the labs is very good and they are well-maintained. The classrooms are quite basic with a smart board and blackboard. However, in my final year, they installed AC in the ECE department. The hostel is quite basic with the majority having a shared bathroom and 3 people in a room. We have a hospital where we don't have to pay for consultation fees. We have 3 sports grounds, an indoor plaza And a swimming pool. We have a common canteen.
Faculty: Nearby 50% of the teachers are well qualified and good at teaching and others just focused on memorizing the subject. There are some exceptional teachers. The curriculum is outdated and we have to study on our own to get into placement like any other college. We have 3 class tests which are converted to 50% internal marks and the rest 50% is sem end paper. Both CT's and sem endpapers are of average level you can qualify them by studying for a few days.
Other: I chose this course because it had math in it and that made this branch easy for me. The best thing about choosing ECE is that your job opportunity increases significantly. We have a Milan fest every year, there are more than 30 clubs in the college including my favorite drama club.

You can apply for the SRMJEE or you can take admission directly. After the counseling process few seats are left so to fill those seats they take some of the students for that you have to book your slot earlier.

Yes, it is worthy to take admission into SRM University for electronics and communication engineering. The placements are really good as many core companies visit them every year. The faculty and the infrastructure is really better. So, it is a good choice.
