What is the criteria for admission to B.Des programme offered by a UCEED 2024 participating institute?

Admission to the B. Des programme at UCEED 2024 participating colleges will be on the basis of UCEED 2024 merit rank. So, candidates with a higher rank will get preference in the seat allotment process. The admission committee will also consider the college option opted by the candidate and their order of priority. UCEED Participating Institutes 2026 - There will be around seven participating institutes of UCEED 2026. IIT Roorkee was newly added in the previous edition of the exam. The participating institutes offer B.Des courses and have an intake of around 225 seats. Admission to the course will be strictly based on UCEED 2026 merit ranks.

The list of candidates for B.Des admissions for the academic year 2026- 2027 will be released for IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. A provisional seat allotment letter will be available for download in the candidate’s login after the seat acceptance fee has been successfully paid by those allotted a seat.
