Importance of BITSAT exam papers
BITSAT previous papers are important for candidates due to the following reasons:

BITSAT Exam Pattern
While preparing for the BITSAT exam, candidates must have knowledge about the exam pattern. Candidates can have a look at the same below.
- Exam Mode: BITSAT is conducted in computer-based mode.
- Language of question paper: BITSAT exam is conducted in the English language only.
- Sections in question paper: BITSAT question paper will have four parts: Chemistry, Physics, English Language Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology.
- Type of Questions: Multiple-Choice Questions
- Number of Questions: 150
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, students will get +3 marks. For every incorrect answer, students will get (-1) marks.
- Extra Questions in BITSAT: If the candidates attempt all the questions and still time is left, they can attempt extra 12 questions. These 12 questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics only.
BITSAT Preparation Tips
Candidates preparing for BITSAT 2020 can follow the below preparation tips for the exam.
All the subjects must be allotted equal time: Candidates must not waste time in reading out of syllabus topics. Students must not try to read as many books as possible rather they must refer one or two books, prepare notes and solve different types of problems on a topic. BITSAT previous papers will help students in understanding the level of questions and important topics.
Keep in mind BITSAT marking scheme: As the students prepare for BITSAT, they will get to know about the section in which they are perfect. While attempting the question paper, students must take care of the marking scheme. Candidates should attempt only those questions which they are confident about. Remember, there is a negative marking of -1 marks for every incorrectly answered question.
Revise properly: Another good way to prepare for the exam is keep revising what one study. The students should ensure that they take mock tests, sample papers, and previous year question papers to prepare for the BITSAT.
