Sharing his views, Aryan Sharma from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya said, “ Paper 1 was very lengthy in terms of Mathematics and Physics. Chemistry was very easy. It was way easier than past years’ JEE Advanced 2019 question papers. Any student who has solves previous year’s question papers would be able to easily solve Paper 1. Another engineering aspirant, Himanshu Pal, shared, “ Overall both the papers was of moderate level. However, I would like to compare Paper 1 of 2019 with 2016’s JEE Advanced question paper as the paper that year as tough. For me, Paper 2 was of moderate level. Physics was tough in both the papers while Mathematics was tough in Paper 1 and easy in Paper 2. Chemistry has always been easy so didn’t face a problem with that”.

You will not be eligible for admission as preparatory ranks are not considered under round 1. Since you have already qualified to appear for JEE (Advanced), all you need to do is meet the second criterion and apply for round 2, which will be only conducted if seats from round 1 remain vacant.

Yes, you can still get admission in Round 2 if you meet eligibility criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) and have a valid JEE (Mains) rank. Also, you must have scored 60% or above in class 12th. For SC/ST/PwD category students, 55% or above is required.
