If you have forgotten the JEE Mains password, then you will not be able to access the link to check the JEE Mains result 2026.
To reset the password, candidates can check the steps below:
- Visit official website of JEE Main 2026: jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on JEE Main candidate login link
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth
- Choose one of recovery options:
- OTP sent to registered mobile number
- OTP sent to registered email ID
- Enter OTP received
- Create a new password and confirm it
- Submit and login again using new password

Yes, candidates who do not participate in the JoSAA counselling are eligible to participate in the CSAB counselling. Candidates must complete the CSAB counselling registration using JEE Main application number. After the registration process, the exam authorities will commence the document verification process.
To participate in the JEE Main counselling, candidates will need to upload the following documents at the time of JoSAA registration. Class 10 mark sheet/certificate, Class 12 Certificate of category (if applicable), PwD Certificate (if applicable). After the seat allotment, while reporting to the institute, candidates will also need to submit documents like JoSAA seat allotment letter, JEE Main/Advanced admit card, Gap Certificate (if gap after class 12).
The official website for CSAB counselling is csab.nic.in. This website hosts the schedule and details related to CSAB counselling for all rounds - Special, NEUT and Supernumerary.
It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Students should apply for JoSAA conselling only if they fulfill all conditions of eligibility. However many institutes admit students on basis of JEE Main where there is no requirement of minimum marks in class 12.
