The National Testing Agency (NTA) will activate the JEE Main 2026 result link at jeemain.nta.nic.in by February 12. The result of JEE Main will be relesed as a scorecard and will be available under the login of the candidates. The link to JEE Main 2026 results can be checked on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA is expected to activate multiple links for the candidates to download their JEE Main 2026 scorecard. All the links will be activated on the official site of JEE Mains only.

  • Website issues: Due to heavy traffic (over 13 lakh candidates), the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) may crash or show errors like "503/504 Gateway Timeout".

How to Access Link for JEE Main Scorecard if Forgot Password

If you have forgotten the JEE Mains password, then you will not be able to access the link to check the JEE Mains result 2026.

To reset the password, candidates can check the steps below:

  • Visit official website of JEE Main 2026: jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on JEE Main candidate login link
  • Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth
  • Choose one of recovery options:
    • OTP sent to registered mobile number
    • OTP sent to registered email ID
  • Enter OTP received
  • Create a new password and confirm it
  • Submit and login again using new password
  • Select option “Forgot Password?”

If you have selected method of recovering your JEE Main password using security question, then follow steps below:

  • Go to JEE Main login page
  • Click on Forgot Password
  • Enter application number and date of birth
  • Select Security Question option
  • Answer question correctly
  • Set a new password

This method will only work if you remember the exact answer that you have selected earlier.

How to Check JEE Main Result Link if Forgot Application Number

Check the process below to recover the JEE Main application number:

  • Go to the Official Site: Go to the official JEE Mains 2026 website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Find the Link: Access the candidate login and look for the "Forgot Application Number" link.
  • Enter Your Details: On the next window, enter the following details:
    1. Candidate Name
    2. Father Name
    3. Mother Name
    4. Date of Birth
    5. CAPTCHA as shown on login screen
  • Submit: Click the submit button.
  • Receive Your Number: Your application number will be displayed on the screen and sent to your registered email address and mobile number. 

How to Check JEE Main 2026 Result?

Know steps to download JEE Main result below:

    1. Go to Official Websites: Open your browser and visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
    2. Find the Result Link: Look for the link that says "Result of JEE (Main)" or "View Scorecard" on the home page and click on it.
    3. Enter Credentials: On the JEE Main 2026 login window, input your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password.
    4. Enter Security Pin: Type the security code (CAPTCHA) shown on the screen.
    5. Submit: Click the "Submit" button.
    6. View & Download: Your JEE Main scorecard will appear; download it and take a printout for future reference.

Yes, SRM do accepts JEE Main score for admission to a few programs at certain campuses. As per the details available in the official website - "Any Candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main/SAT will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn't take SRMJEEE."

Yes, 25% seats at U V College of Engineering are reserved for admissions under JEE Main score. The candidates have to score more than cutoff of U V College of Engineering to be eligible.

Yes, UV Patel College of Engineering accepts JEE Main marks for taking admission in the BE/BTech courses. The college also accepts score from GUJCET exam for BTech admissions. Candidates have to undergo counselling and fill the application form of college.
