JEE Main February 2021 paper 2 syllabus is important for those candidates who are seeking admission to BArch/BPlan at the IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology), NITs (National Institute of Technology) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) across the country. Candidates must go through JEE Main paper 2 syllabus before starting their preparation. Paper 2 has two parts namely Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlanning). JEE Main BArch syllabus comprises the topics of Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing whereas the syllabus of BPlan encompasses the topics of Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning. JEE Main 2021 is conducted for three papers - BTech, BArch and BPlanning. JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 BArch is being held from February 23 onwards while BTech Paper 1 will be conducted from February 24 to 26 in online mode.

Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials. Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build-environment. Visualising three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings. Visualising different sides of three-dimensional objects. Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal).

Part II

Three dimensional - perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, colour texture, harmony and contrast, building forms and elements. Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil. Transformation of forms both 2D and 3D union, rotation subtraction, development of surfaces and volumes, elevations Generation of Plan and 3 D views of objects. Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.

Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (monuments, public space, festivals, market, street scenes, recreational spaces, etc.), landscape (river fronts, jungles, trees, plants, etc.) and rural life.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology accepts JEE Main scores for admission in BTech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with WBJEE or CE-AMPAI scores can also get admission in BTech provided they also meet the eligibility criteria.

With a JEE Main 2026 rank of 400,510 (≈ 70 percentile), admission to NITs, IIITs, or top GFTIs through JoSAA counseling is not possible.
