NTA Exam Calendar 2027
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the tentative NTA exam calendar 2027 providing the schedule of major entrance examinations planned for the first three months of 2027. The calendar covers examinations proposed to be conducted up to March 2027 and includes JEE Main 2027 session 1, CMAT 2027, NIFTEE 2027 and CUET PG 2027, among other examinations.
Candidates can use the NTA exam calendar to plan their preparation and keep track of the expected examination period. However, the dates mentioned by NTA are tentative and may be changed due to administrative, academic, logistical or other unforeseen reasons. NTA has also clarified that the calendar is not the examination notification. Detailed information bulletins and examination-specific notices will be released separately.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Date
JEE Main 2027 exam is planned for January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30, 2027, with January 31 kept as a buffer date. The announcement is important for engineering aspirants because JEE Main is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs and other participating institutions. The NTA calendar currently covers the exami schedule up to March 2027. Therefore, candidates should wait for the separate JEE Main 2027 information bulletin for details regarding session 1 registration, application correction, city intimation, admit card, answer key and result.
The schedule for JEE Main 2027 session 2 will also be released through a separate examination notification as it is likely to be conducted in April.
Are NTA Exam Calendar 2027 Dates Final?
No. The dates mentioned in the NTA Exam Calendar 2027 are tentative. NTA has stated that the schedule can be changed because of administrative, academic, logistical or other unforeseen circumstances. The calendar should therefore be treated as an advance planning document rather than the final examination schedule. NTA has also clarified that publication of the calendar does not amount to the release of an examination notification. Candidates will have to wait for individual examination notifications and information bulletins for the complete schedule.
